He lay awake in his bed and listened to the water dripping from the roof. Not being able to rest he turned around and looked out of the window, just to see a starless sky, full with clouds.
Clouds, perfect... he thought sighing. They were just the right thing to make him fall asleep. No, definitely not!
These clouds just reminded him of THAT person. And of the fact that he could...no, that he WAS fearsome, in fact even very fearsome and that he was strong, strong enough to beat even the most powerful opponent.
But still, he also had to think of the smile he always had on his face while fighting and how he wanted to be the reason why the other boy smiled, if only just once in his life.
Still staring at the clouds outside Sawada Tsunayoshi sighed again and decided that they just meant that his cloud guardian, also known as the fearsome chairman of Namimori Middle School's disciplinary committee, Hibari Kyoya was watching over him in his sleep, probably even with a small smile, or maybe not, he just couldn't imagine that without seeing Hibari's face turn into what he knew so well from the times he had seen the other boy fight. But still, the thought of Hibari watching over him meant definitely that he wouldn't have to fear anything that night.
And with a smile Sawada Tsunayoshi did finally fall asleep, while a certain guardian of his sat on a roof just on the opposite side of the street, his face a lot softer than usual and an almost silent whisper on his lips.
"Sleep well, little herbivore..."
