Beyond Birthday's POV
I didn't cry that night,
I went down without a fight.
I let it drag me down,
I let it take me with just a frown.
Smile;
It's something I haven't done in a while.
Nothing matters anymore,
I can't help but head for the door.
Smile I will,
Always as I kill.
Frown I will never,
Just smile forever.
A maniac's grin,
In a world of sin,
Where sweet smiles,
Are not seen for miles.
I never did cry at that time,
But, yes, my life did turn on a dime.
My life, it changed,
Never again was it the same.
Down I went,
Into my own mind,
Where I discovered something not very kind.
My mind,
It corrupted,
The only thing you'll find,
Is something disruptive.
My mind,
It's a killer,
Never is it kind,
I can't get much shriller.
Don't look in my mind.
You won't like what you find.
