Flaky ran as fast as she could to the town hall. She had moved to Happy Tree Town to get away from her home town and she couldn't wait to start her new life. Flaky turned a corner and found herself looking at a scene that made her heart stop. A green bear dressed in a camo jacket was ripping the head off of a yellow rabbit. The bear laughed evilly as the rabbit's body fell to the pavement, blood gushing all over the street. Flaky squeaked in fear and backed away slowly. Yellow eyes met black ones as the bear looked at the porcupine in confusion.
"Who the hell are you?" The bear yelled walking towards the frightened porcupine.
Flaky stood still shaking as the male now stood in front of her. His yellow eyes showed nothing, but anger.
"I asked you a question!"
Flaky squeaked and backed away, "M-my name's Flaky…"
The bear grabbed Flaky's arm and growled at her, putting the knife to her throat."Well, Flaky, hope you enjoy living in hell for the rest of your life."
The knife slid across Flaky's throat, blood gushing from the wound. Her light red fur stained dark red. The male smiled cruelly as the porcupine's eyes rolled back into her head and her body
fell to the ground.
"Can't wait till we meet again."
The male walked away looking for another victim to play with. Two heads popped up from behind a building. Two raccoons ran to the body of the porcupine and looked at her in disbelief.
"Where do you think she came from?" The younger coon asked, poking the body with a stick.
The oldest raccoon who wore a fedora glared at his brother, "Does it really matter, come on let's get her body to the hospital."
The younger coon nodded and they took the body towards the hospital. A few hours later Flaky's eyes fluttered open and she looked around the room in shock.
"Hu, I'm alive?" Flaky put her hands to her throat and felt no stitched where her cut should have been.
"Of course you're alive, everyone comes back sooner or later."
Flaky looked towards the door and saw the green bear from before smiling at her. Something was different though, his eyes were black like everyone else's.
"I-It's you!" Flaky squeaked in fear as she backed away as far as she could.
The bear looked at Flaky confused, "Hmm, we've met before?"
"You killed me!" Flaky couldn't believe he was acting like…like nothing happened.
Before Flippy could say anything a blue anteater came into the room and stepped between the two.
"You must be talking about his brother miss, you see Flippy here wouldn't hurt a fly."
Flaky looked from the anteater to the bear who was now looking down sadly. Guilt washed over Flaky. How could she accuse him of doing such a thing, she didn't even know him.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know. Maybe we could be friends?" Flaky asked smiling shyly.
Flippy looked up and smiled brightly, "I'd like that."
