Tearing Apart True Friends

"You're not a Viking. Your not my son." Stoick finished.

Those words struck him hard. He never thought his father would say that to him. He tries to fight back tears but they pour out anyway.

"Ready the ships." Stoick called leaving Hiccup alone with a torn heart. His own ached with guilt but he pushed it aside. He right is going to find the nest finally.

Hiccup was in tears. He felt he lost everything. He wished he didn't tell his dad about the nest. Now he knows his father will get everyone killed. Why does he even call Stoick his father? He was just disowned.

He missed Toothless. He missed being with his dragon his best friend. He wished Toothless was just here with him.

Suddenly a roar was heard. Hiccup's head shot up and he ran to find what was making the noise. There he saw at the kill ring was Toothless chained up. He looked miserable and sad. Hiccup ran to Toothless as fast as his legs could carry him.

"Toothless" he called causing the dragon's attention. He was so relieved to see his rider.

"Toothless" Hiccup called again running straight to him. Some Vikings try to stop him but luckily to Hiccups small size he managed to slip from them and get to his dragon.

"Toothless" Hiccup said to his dragon hugging his head. He was glad Toothless was ok he needed a shoulder to cry on after what just happened. Toothless purred to Hiccup trying to calm him.

But suddenly two vikings pull Hiccup from behind tearing him apart from his dragon. "Toothless no" he called he tried to cling to the dragon. "Please" he begged to Toothless "Please don't leave me." Hiccup sobbed. Toothless wined and looked at Hiccup with sad eyes. The Vikings managed to pull Hiccup away from Toothless and pushed him aside. Toothless tried to squirm out of his chains but he didn't succeed. He only looked at Hiccup with pleading eyes and brought his head down with shame.

Hiccup watched as the Vikings took Toothless away from him. He knows he lost everything. He disappointed everyone. His father, his tribe, and his best friend.

He felt so alone. That is until Astrid came and stood next to him.

"It's a mess." she said "You must feel horrible. You've just lost everything your father, your tribe, your best friend."

"Thank you for summing that up." Hiccup responded using his sarcastic attitude that he usually does when he's upset.
