What is up, guys? I'm here with another story. This time with Unbreakable and Carrie as the crossover. Read, review, and tell me what you think. I own nothing.
David Dunn made his way to his boss's office in the Baseball park. He had informed David there was something he needed to tell him real quick.
He entered the office. He saw two people standing there. His boss and someone else.
"David, sit down, please," Tim said.
David sat down across from Tim. The other person sat down next to him.
"David, I'd like you to meet Principal Morton of Chamberlain High School," Tim said.
"Nice to meet you," David said, shaking his hand.
"Likewise," Morton said.
David saw nothin after shaking his hand. Nothing wrong, but he could see regret on the principal's face.
"Mr. Morton is here to offer a newer job for him," Tim said. "Unfortunately, that means I've gotta let you go."
"What kind of job?" David asked.
"The new head of security at my school," Morton replied.
"What happened to the old head of security?" David asked.
Morton had an obvious look of embarrassment on his face.
Flashback
The former head of Security, Bob Marley, walked down the stairs of the school, but tripped on a dropped binder and fell down, breaking all his bones.
We then see a grave with his name on it.
"We don't speak of the horrible manner in which he died in," Morton replied.
"Alright, fair enough," David replied.
"So, are you interested?" Morton asked.
"Sure," David asked.
"Great," Morton said. "You leave in three days. You start on the fourth day."
"I guess me and my family are moving," David said, shaking Morton's hand.
"I have a house already set up for the three of you," Morton replied. "Here's the address."
He handed David a slip of paper. David slipped it into his pocket.
"I'll see you in four days," Morton said.
"Likewise," David said.
Morton left the room. Tim turned to David.
"Be sure to attend the goodbye party tonight, David," he said.
"What time should I be there?" David asked.
"It starts at 5:00," Tim replied.
David nodded and left. He could hardly wait to tell his family the news.
Once in his car, Morton took out his cellphone. He scrolled through the speed dial until he stopped at one name in particular.
Dr. Stephenson.
He pressed the Call button, and put the phone up to his ear. It ringed for a bit, before Stephenson answered.
"Dr. Stephenson's office," a voice said on the other end.
"Alex, it's me," Morton said.
"Is he onboard?" the voice asked.
"Yeah, Dunn's onboard," he replied.
"Then I'm on my way," Alexander said.
"Careful," Morton said. "Believe when I say she can be at her most dangerous when she's scared, angry, or freaked out."
"Don't worry," the doctor said. "Me and David can keep a close eye on her."
With that, Morton hung up. He started up his engine and drove back to the airport.
Cut back to David.
"Chamberlain?" his wife asked.
"Is something wrong?" Davis asked.
"David, there is a known psychopath in that town," she replied. "Clearly this Principal Morton forgot to bring that up."
Suddenly, the regret on Morton's face made a lot of sense. He regretted not doing anything to protect this girl from her mother earlier, and he had no doubt learned the truth of what had happened all those years.
"Maybe that's why he came you, dad," David's son said. "Because he felt you could succeed where he failed."
David thought for a moment. Then he became suspicious. How did Morton know where to find him? Out of all the security, he chose him. Why? There were guards better than him, but he singled David out. The more he thought about, the more suspicious he became.
He was snapped out of his thinking by his son reminding him to pack a few things then to get ready for the party.
A few hours later, David arrived at the party. Everyone was waiting for him, holding a glass Whiskey in their hands.
"To David Dunn, one of our top security guards," one of his coworkers said.
"What are we gonna do without you?" a fellow security guard asked.
"Get a girlfriend?" David suggested.
Everyone laughed at his joke.
The party went on for a few hours. David hung out with his friends, even sharing a tearful hug with the secretary.
Eventually, the party ended. David said goodbye to his comrades and drove back home.
Meanwhile, at the asylum Price was being held at.
Elijah was sitting in his wheel chair, staring at the wall as usual. He heard the door open, but didn't turn around.
"It's been a long time, Elijah," Alexander said.
Elijah smirked and turned around.
"Alexander Stephonson," Elijah said. "To what do I owe the pleasure of this little blast from the past?"
"I know you know about her," Alexander replied.
"Carrie White?" he asked. "Of course I know. You're not the only one with connections."
"Who told you?" Alexander asked, using his powers to shut down the cameras and to move the bed in front of the door. "Was it Mr. Hargenson? Or was it Mr. Nolan?"
"They're too stupid to figure it out," Elijah replied.
"Then who?" Alexander demanded.
"All in due time, Doctor," Elijah replied. "All in good time."
"Tell me now, murderer..." Alexander growled.
"You think I'd tell you?" Elijah demanded. "Dunn may have reported me, but your're the one who threw me in here. You may as well prepare your army, because I won't stop until I kill you and everyone else loyal to you."
Alexander used his electricity to move the bed back into place and exit the room by picking the lock with his powers. After he left, the cameras came back on.
And there's the first chapter. Stay tuned for the next one.
