FRUITY PEBBLES
Summary: a one shot a crazy fear I had as a kid
Mitchie Torres walked into the kitchen to find her boyfriend eating a bowl of cereal and her brother looking at him with a concerned look on his face
"Good Morning "
she greeted the two members of connect 3
"Morning " Shane replied glumly Jason on the other hand continued to shift his gaze from Shane's cereal to his tongue as if expecting something to happen
"What's with him " Mitchie asked Shane quietly
"Don't know he's been looking at me like this since I started eating my cereal and it's starting to creep me out " upon hearing Shane's explanation Mitchie looked to see just what kind of cereal Shane was eating and found that her theory was correct her boyfriend was indeed eating fruity pebbles
"Jase " she said gaining his attention
"It's been 10 minuets since he started eating and it hasn't happened yet " Jason responded
"Jase this is not the commercial his tongue isn't going to turn to cereal
"Now why would a cereal commercial lie about the side affects " Jason asked genuinely confused
"There are no side affects to CEREAL "
"Ok I'll be in my room but when his transformation starts call me down see ya Mitchie " and with that Jason ran off
Leaving Mitchie to mutter something in Spanish
"Care to explain love " Shane asked
"Well you've seen the commercial for fruity pebbles I presume "
"Yes"
"And you know how when the dude took a spoonful of cereal and his tongue turned to pebbles? "
"Ohhhh" Shane said catching on
"Yeah so he has always been terrified of the cereal "
"Your brother is really something "
Shane said nuzzling his head against her neck as her arm snaked it's way around his back while the other enter wined her fingers with his they stayed in this position until Jason screamed down the stairs
"HAS IT STARTED YET ?"
to which Mitchie responded
"NO AND IT NEVER WILL "
"Oh you found a cure ? "
And that last particular remark earned him a smack on the back of his head from his sister who again started muttering in Spanish before sitting in Shane's lap in there previous position this time on the couch as she focused her attention to the tv and groaned when she saw that a fruity pebbles commercial had come on
