"Come on Al don't be so scared he's just a boy." Lily Evans said to her best friend Alice Fortescue.
"Easy for you to say you don't like anybody!" Alice retorted
Lily muttered something under her breath that sounded like, that's what you think.
"WHAT?!!!!" Alice replied
Lily went red in the face and stammered, "N-n-nothing."
"I just thought I heard you say, that's what you think." If it was possible Lily went even redder then her hair.
Suddenly the door to the common room door banged open and standing in the doorway were the Marauders and Frank Longbottom.
"Oi Evans have you managed to find a sunny beach in the middle of winter because you look really sunburned." Said Sirius Black
"Oh Padfoot you dog. Lay off of Lily." James Potter Sirius's best friend replied.
"Keep your antlers out of everyone's business Prongs."
"I'm pretty sure that's not how the saying goes." Marlene McKinnon Alice and Lily's other best friend strutted into the room.
"So what McKinnon it goes like that now!!!" Sirius grinned
"Ugh boys."
Alice's long time crush Frank then spoke, "H-hey Alice can I talk t-to you?"
Alice was filled with dread, what was he going to say. He stared at her obviously
expecting an answer.
"Actually Frank, Alice also wanted to tell you something." Lily inserted herself into the conversation.
"Alice you can tell me what you want to say first."
"No you go first Frank."
"No you."
"No you."
"Ok, I am seriously getting tired of this! Alice, Frank likes you."
"James!!!"
"Well Frank, guess what? Alice also likes you."
"Marlene!!!!!!!!!"
"Now snog already!"
"Sirius that's not how you do it."
"You're right Evans, you have to do it like this... ACCIO POPCORN!"
Popcorn flew into Sirius's hands. He sat down on a couch and started munching on it.
"Frank," Alice said timidly "do you really like me?'
"Yes Alice, I do."
"Frank, just so you know I like you too."
"Alice, Will you go on a date with me?"
Alice looked at Frank her insides filled with joy and fainted.
"God thanks, Longbottom, you broke Alice!"
