Halloween was one of the funnest times of the year. Everyone dressed up as some scary being or a favorite character from a fave show or game. But one halloween, everything changed. Something sad and tragic. Something that wasn't supposed to happen.
On Halloween of 2016, the life of a skeletal monster was taken. It all happened so quick, no one had seen it coming till it was to late. The poor thing turned to dust in a matter of seconds. The older brother of the skeleton went into shock and silence not knowing what to do.
I know this only because I was there. I tried to stop it all from happening. But I was to late. I wasn't fast enough to get in between the skeleton and the thing, which was a out of control car going almost a hundred miles per hour. After that there was the sound of silence and no one disturbed it.
This was the start of Halloween's annual Sound of Silence before trick or treat began. Everything stayed quiet for a solid hour. No talking, no sound of cars passing by, no nothing except pure silence. This is the story of how it all began and what happened after it all.
