Abigail x TK x Kari
Abigail loved TK a lot. But the one thing that has kept her quiet about her feelings for him was Kari. She was one girl that wasn't like all the others.
Kari was the best. She was the girl of light. Everyone loved her.
Abigail couldn't help but feel happy and sad for her. Kari was with the best guy around. TK.
They were dating since high school and they got along so well.
"Abigail?" Patamon called her name.
"I'm fine." She said. He was the one person...Digimon who understood her.
Abigail loved TK too. She had fallen for him before Kari realized her feelings for him.
TK was torn with Abigail and Kari. But really Abigail encouraged him to go for Kari.
And he did.
Abigail is sitting here on this park bench with Patamon as TK and Kari are having a party to celebrate their getting together.
What was she going to do?
Not tell TK the truth. That she loved him. Not when he's with Kari.
Some people compared Abigail to Kari. Saying she should be more like her.
Abigail is always honest with everyone. Truth is her necklace name.
The necklace that TK gave her for her 16th birthday.
"Abigail." Patamon said her name once again. Seeing her griping the necklace around her neck.
"I'm fine, Patamon." She said. Tears forming in her eyes.
"As long as TK is happy. I'm happy." She told herself.
But in her heart. She wanted TK to be with her.
But it wasn't meant to be.
"Tell TK and Kari congrats for me. I'm going home." Abigail said and walked away from Patamon.
Patamon went over to TK and Kari and told him he was going with Abigail.
They both said okay and he flew after her.
"You don't have to-"
"I want to. You need a friend right now." Patamon said.
Abigail let her tears fall. "Thank you, Patamon." She said.
She got home in time for her to let out all he sadness and anger.
Why did this have to hurt so much.
TK made his choice. Kari was his girl. And Abigail was just the best friend who would be alone.
Well not totally alone.
"Thanks, Patamon for being here with me." She said.
"I'll be here with you through this whole thing. Until you die." He said crying too.
After a few hours the tears stopped.
"Let's get you home." Abigail said.
She walked back out to take Patamon home.
"Oh! I was coming to get you." TK said seeing them.
"Go on Patamon." Abigail said.
She didn't feel sadness or anger anymore. Not overwhelming anyway.
"Are you okay, Abigail?" TK asked.
It's just going to be another day.
"Yeah. I'm fine." She said.
This was the first time she has ever lied. And it won't be her last.
