Who are you?
The wind rustled the leaves as the day started like any other for the Senshi of the white moon. Things had returned to normal after the battle with Galaxia and Chaos. It had been several months since the final battle and Chibi-usa had returned from the future to visit Hotaru in the past. Setsuna had also returned just to keep her eye on Small Lady. It was summer when all the scouts had gone to Michiru's bench house to get away from the stress of school and the city even if there were no monsters to be found. Usagi and the inner court smiled as they arrived at the two-story cream painted mansion with a beautiful sea view.
" Haruka-san! Michiru-san!" Usagi shouted running across the driveway to the two woman standing there dragging her fiancé Mamoru along behind her. " Thanks for inviting us to your amazing home Michiru-san," she said her blonde hair spilling out of her odangos into the light breeze. Mamoru sighed nodding to the women standing outside the door.
" Your welcome, Princess." Michiru said her hands quickly running through her sea tone hair.
" Michiru-san please don't call me that here, I'm still just Usagi," she said her lips curving into a smile as Setsuna pulled up to the manor with Hotaru and Chibi-usa sitting in the backseat of her Toyota. The two ran out of the car to the railing over looking the waves of blue.
Haruka shook her head letting her blonde locks, which needed to be cut, sway sighing as she helped Mamoru carry in the other women's things as Michiru showed there guests around. Michiru showed inner court where they would be staying over the next couple weeks. Usagi and Mamoru would share a room since they were soon to be married which had everyone in a joyous mood. Hotaru would share her room with Setsuna and Chibi-usa. Ami and Makoto would share a room as would Minako and Rei. The aqua haired girl allowed the girls to get settled as she walked back to her bed room finding a very stressed blonde sitting on the bed.
" Haruka." She said walking over to her lover sitting next to her. " Thank you for letting them come even though this was going to be our little break. You and I have both have sensed something off so it was wise to invite them."
" As has Setsuna, she informed me over the phone that someone has been messing with the time stream." The blonde said sighing looking to her hands then up at her woman's eyes. " I bet Rei-san has sensed it too, "
Michiru nodded and shook her head slightly allowing her hair to fall over her shoulders. " We'll get to the bottom of this as we always do, " Haruka said kissing her sea goddess's forehead as a knock came from the door. The two turned to see the dark haired man this time without the blonde hanging to him.
" Setsuna filled me in on the situation." Mamoru told them. " Do you have any clue on what could be going on?"
" No. That's the thing. It has something to do with the time stream but it wasn't Small lady." Setsuna said as she too entered the room. The small group nodded, each one trying to think of an explanation.
" We are not going to tell this to Usako." Mamoru said to the group who all agree with a nod before starting to talk about what could be going on. Around mid-night they called it quits leaving the two women to themselves.
" There is more to this than meets the eye." Michiru said to Haruka as the wind goddess nodded. " Let's sleep. We will need all our strength to deal with the inners, " she said kissing her lover then crawling under the covers. " Night my Uranian breeze." she whispered to her partner.
" Night, my sea goddess." Haruka said to her smiling before turning out the lights falling into an uneasy sleep.
The next morning the two got up early to make breakfast for the large group of sailor soldiers. Eggs, bacon, toast, jam, and honey were all laid out on the table as the inner scouts slowly made there way down the stairs.
"Morning" they all said at once sitting down as the younger girls ran down sliding to the table. They were smiling like the Cheshire cat as Setsuna and Mamoru, last to get the table arrived. Once everyone was seated they all dug into the meal which was before them. Usagi ate everything she could.
" Can we go swimming today Michiru-san?" Chibi-usa asked a grin upon her face.
" I don't see why not. We do have all summer to do many things why not start it off with a good swim." She said back to the pink haired girl who smiled grabbing Hotaru's hand running back up the stairs two at a time. The scouts all laughed as Usagi stood up following in her future daughter's foot step walking up the stairs until reaching the top and bolting to her room which soon after the only male followed his bouncing blonde towards there room. The other inner scouts followed suit leaving the three outer scouts to clean up the mess from breakfast.
" Now, I need to check on the time stream." Setsuna said looking at the twin planets. " Watch over the Prince and Princess." She instructed walking towards the door disappearing before reaching it as the two shook their heads.
" I have a feeling she knows something we don't." Haruka said shaking her head as she started the dish washer wrapping her muscular arms around the other woman's waist. " I wish we were alone." She whispered in the other's ear as she heard the woman in her arms giggle.
" Ruka now is not the time to think about...that, we have guests." Michiru said to her as the girls came down the stairs.
" Ami did you really have to bring your books with you on this trip." Minako wined sporting an orange bikini as the blue haired girl nodded looking down into her arms at her thick book and her one piece blue spotted bathing suit.
Rei rolled her eyes stepping besides the blonde. " Minako-chan is right Ami-chan, books and vacation don't mix." She said crossing her arms over her two piece red swimsuit and purple wrap. Makoto sighed shaking her head putting a hand on her hips still on the last step making her taller then she already was her green board shorts covering the lower half of her light green suit. Chibi-usa and Hotaru walked down in matching pink and purple suits smiling as Usagi followed down with Mamoru him in black suit and Usagi in a white and pink suit. The group walked out and down towards the bench.
Haruka and Michiru went to their room and changing into their suits before strolling down to join the others on the bench finding Ami reading her book, Makoto and Minako starting a volleyball game in which Haruka and Mamoru quickly joined. Michiru shook her head walking to the sea taking breath before stepping into the wake letting her aqua suit get soaked noticing Usagi and Chibi-usa were having a splash battle in which Hotaru soon joined in as the fire priestess bathed in the sun. As the day continued and the temperature rose, Mamoru decided to head back to the manor to get some water bottles for the everyone when he heard a crash and a muffled scream, towards the front walk. He quicken his pace towards the trouble finding a teen age girl around 5ft, with aqua hair tied up into odangos just like Usako's.
He slowly bent down noticing a thick trail of blood trickling from the girl's stomach. She had been hurt badly. He picked her up bring her inside the manor setting her down onto the living room couch before running to the back balcony.
" Ami-san!" he shouted as loud as he could. " Get up here quickly and get your medical equipment," he shouted down as the scouts all looked up at him wondering what was wrong. Even though Mamoru was training to be a doctor as well as Ami, he knew she could use the experience and she had her medical kit with her. Michiru and Usagi were the first to move from there places running and jumping up the cliff as they would if they were in their senshi mode onto the balcony. Haruka quickly followed suit with the rest of the scouts running in the dust behind her.
Setsuna had gotten to the time gate not an hour after she had left looking into her orb trying to figure out what was going on when the gate opened. She armed herself with time key in hand as something flew out falling down to the earth. She frowned quickly following what ever fell after closing the time gate. Losing sight of what ever fell she returned to the manor to inform the others only to find Ami fixing a deep stomach wound.
Ami had quickly stitched the wound on the girl before she wiped her brow turning to the group.
" What ever did this damage was strong, a yoma most likely. I'll get started looking for information on my computer," she said turning to the Time Senshi. " It will be faster if we worked together Setsuna-sama." The blue haired girl said. Setsuna nodded quickly followed after the brainy-ache.
Rei sighed turning to the door. " I'm going to make a bonfire on the beach to see if i can see anything, Makoto, Minako. Help me get some wood would you," she said as the two nodded walking out the door.
Haruka turned to the youngest of the group. "Now you two go to your room. Hotaru, keep close to Setsuna and Ami just in case they find something" Hotaru nodded pulling Chibi-usa up the stairs leaving the two couples to watch the unconscious girl.
Usagi and Michiru both sat down near the couch keeping a close eye on the girl. Each of them felt a strange connection tying the girl to them for some reason. Mamoru and Haruka looked at their lovers sighing as they walked into the kitchen to make some coco for everyone to try to calm their nerves over the trouble that had just occurred.
