It had been a normal day

But Pitch reared his ugly head

"What do ya think his up to now he can't have regained enough power to attempt anything." Jack said to the others in the sleigh

"No idea," Tooth said "but, I have a bad feeling about this."

"You vorry to much Tooth." says North before grabbing a global and telling it to take us to a city on the east coast near New York

Jack's POV

When we finally got there he was ready for an attack right away. We were immediately surrounded by nightmares. We all started on the same roof but, now me and Tooth are the only ones left on this roof top Sandy being up above in the sky and North and Bunny on another roof. Pitch had been popping up a bit of every where but never staying in one place too long. He had finally settled on the same one as me and Tooth he made a handful of daggers he grabbed one of them and took aim I followed his aim strait to… "Tooth" I yell as loud as I can but seeing her surrounded by nightmares I hit my staff to the ground the frost shoots out I push it toward Tooth's direction until it's between her and Pitch and I use all my power to send up an ice wall just in time it hit just bellow the top of my wall.

Tooth had turned to look and see what I was blocking. she sees the dagger sticking out of the ice she turns toward me and gives a smile at me before her look turns to one of pure horror I turn to see that he had turned his aim to me he throws one, two, three, four of the daggers in quick succession.

I attempt in vain to put up another wall to protect myself but I don't have enough energy

I send a small icicle at him and hope it hits him.

The first of his weapons hits my staff snapping it in half my entire body flinches from the shock and pain. The second and third hit my lower chest and the fourth and final one hits me higher and goes deeper then any of the others.

I hadn't realized how close to the edge of the building but I stumble back after each hit until I fall back on to nothing the ground is getting closer I vaguely hear Tooth yelling what I assume is my name but I'm fading in and out of consciousness.

I'm nearing the cement when I feel someone catch means slowly lower me to the ground "O, Sweettooth. Why'd you do that." The person mumbles

I feel them put my head on their lap I force my eyes open and see amethyst eyes with tears in them. Tooth, she caught me my eyes feel heavy I feel them slowly close until she shakes me "Sweettooth, you need to keep your eyes open."

"It-it hur-hurts." I force out between ragged breaths

"I know, I know but you have to. Your gonna be fine." She says worriedly grabbing my hand and squeezing it gently

"K ..." I say slowly my belief in that fading more and more every moment

"We're gonna get you back to the Pole and you're gonna be fine."

"T-Tooth-I-I'm I'm-d-dyin'" I gasp out I'm tasting blood slowly come up my throat breathing is getting even harder and my eyes feel like lead weights

"No, your not, you can't. I won't let you."

I give her a half smile before I lose the fight to keep my eyes open and give in to unconsciousness.
