Esme was the motherly one even thought she was only four years older than us, she usually made sure that we made sane choices when it came to virtually anything. Sometimes we gave Esme a hard time for being such a "mood-killer" as we'd call her, but deep down, we all truly appreciated that she kept order most of the time.

Rosalie, Alice, and I are all the same age, twenty-one, officially adults, and boy did we like that. The three of us clicked just as soon as we met, it was senior year, and I had moved out of my mom's house because I didn't get along with her new husband too well, and well, my father was a busy man, let's just say that his career as a prestigious lawyer with his own firm had always been his number one priority. So at eighteen, I moved to Forks, Washington, I figured I needed a nice, small, quiet place to live in, and maybe I'd finally get my life in place.

My father managed to get me a beautiful house in forks, it was all too big for me, but I liked it, large and luxurious, my father thought that he had to make up for not being there most of my childhood by always spending his money's worth on lavish, extravagant gifts for me.

At some point, I asked Alice and Rosalie to move in with me, they no-longer wanted to live with their parents and I told them I had too much space in my house for just myself, so they moved in with me after graduating high school. And Esme, well, I ask her to move in with me too, I had an extra room in the house and she was also a great friend, I had met her in my first job in Forks and she really helped me as far as getting to know the town goes, and I always liked her company so having her join us was a joy.
