As she walked down the deserted street, her shoes barely making a sound. As she held the weapon of choice in her hand, she looked up to the sky; her ears straining to listen for any sine of life in the empty city. How she wished she could feel his warm touch again.

The whirring and clicking in her brain wouldn't stop, it always annoyed the hell out of her. And then she stopped, turned around quickly and saw another one. God those damn Zombies, always there wherever she went. At leased there was only one she thought as she ran to the Zombie and decapitated it with her ax.

It all started about a year ago, a random person got it out of the blue. It didn't seem like anything at the time, but then it kept on infecting everyone and everything it touched. And the Doctors called it Tulindose. It was terrible, people dropping like flys left and right. She was scared, but felt safe in his arms. But then he got it, her lover got that god damned Tulindose. He got sicker and sicker every day and all she could do was watch and wait.

Once they found out that Tulindose stops the heart and/or brain they had put out volunteers to get a transplant. She was the first and last to fat the transplant. It was to get a mechanical heart and half a mechanical brain. She survived, and when she got Tulindose to she survived. She was a survivor, but not her friends or family. Not even her lover survived, and when he died of Tulindose she cried and cried for days on end.

But she picked herself off the ground and kept on going. But then strange things started happening, people who died came back, and they were Zombies.

The people who were sick instantly died, but not her. She stayed strong and protected herself from those god forsaken undead people. The first few months were hard, nearly escaping instant death from getting eaten alive.

One day it was the worst, in one of the packs of Zombies was her best friend Levy. She felt so so so bad when she killed her, so she took a necklace that was Levy's as a reminder of her petite friend. It was also hard but she moved on.

The only thing she was really looking for was her lover, at least the Zombie that was once her lover. She would finally make him rest peacefully, after roaming the world half dead. It would be hard but she would do it she told herself many times.

But every time she would remember the fun times they had together, the hug and kisses. The days when they just sat around the apartment they shared, talking about silly stuff. And the love and passion that they felt for each other.

Then she began to cry, sobbing loudly not caring if it would attract more Zombies. She missed him and his loving, carefree personality. How he cared for all of his friends and family, and especially towards her. She missed him, just so damn much. And he could make her walk through hell and back, by just telling her to.

Then she heard the sounds of the accursed Zombies. She got up and wiped away her tears. No need for crying right now, they're here she thought. When she went around the corner she gasped there he was, the man she fell in love with, the man she wished to spend her whole life with. It was time to let her regrets go, and finally end this journey she had started to help hi a nod mostly herself.

Hello fello fanfic people

how did you like my story? Anywho, this little story was at the back of my mind for awhile and I wanted to wright/type it up. Also sort of inspired by the app: plague inc. it's really fun in my opinion. So if you want you can check that out.
