A/N: Okay I know I haven't been posting at ALL, I have had absolutely no inspiration lately but I've finally come up with something! I really hope you guys like it and if you do make sure rate, review, favourite, follow, all that good stuff! :) Its really awesome to hear from you guys, it makes me want to continue stories! Anyway, lets get to it!

Kasita stretched out on the long hammock in her back yard, her history text book opened in front of her. She sighed and tried to remember the names. 'Samuel de Champlain was known as the father of new france. . .'

She suddenly closed the book, exasperated by the facts swirling around her mind without meaning. History had never been her strong suit. Perhaps she would learn better if every single answer weren't written on the board and all she had to do was copy and copy for tedious hours in the afternoon, everyone doing the exact same thing over and over.

Kasita stood and stretched once again, her mind escaping her as she gazed across the stretching lawn in front, and forest in the back. She brushed back her mousey brown hair and gazed toward the forest, deciding that perhaps she would have a clearer mind with a walk through fresher air.

Her mind, as usual, wandered as she trekked down the path. She started to think about things such as 'Why am I so like everyone else?'. She scolded herself, saying quietly, "Not many people are named Kasita, you are named Kasita, you have an unusual name, that makes you independent, that makes you different. . ."

Kasita was interupted mid-thought however by a menacing sounding BOOM that rang through the leaves. A flock of birds flew away from a spot near the center of the forest, and her 15-year-old mind convinced her to run. Her legs carried her, further and further.

She was not running away. Kasita decided to run towards the sound, unlike what a normal (or sane) person would have done. She entered a clearing, and there, in the center, was an escape pod. 'But, how could this have happened? This doesn't look like any normal escape pod I've ever seen! How did this thing get he-'

For the second time that day her thoughts were cut off by something tackling her to the ground from behind. All she saw for a moment was a flash of blue and white past her eyes, then her mind went black.

Allright yes it was a little short (who am I kidding it was barely a chapter) but I wanted to make sure you guys liked it before I continued! Remember to let me know what you think!
