We were both young when I first saw you

I close my eyes and the flashback starts

The memory of when Aang and I first met is still fresh in my mind. Even though it's been over three years since I found him in that iceburg. Another memory I love would be the dance Aang held in the Fire Nation.

See the lights

See the party, the ball gowns

See you make your way through the crowd

And say hello, little did I know

Aang could have danced with anyone, but he chose me.

The wierd thing is that I was so oblivious to all the hints he sent to me. He loved me. The truth was that I loved him too, but was to afraid to admit it. That's all behind us now.

That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles

And my daddy said stay away from Juliet

And I was crying on the staircase

Begging you please don't go, and I said

I love him. He loves me. That's all that matters.

Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone

I'll be waiting, all there's left is to do is run

You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess

As I stood on a balcony to my room in the Fire Nation, a presence came up behind me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and lightly kissed my neck.

"Hello, Aang," I said.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Nothing really," I replied.

"Good come with me to the garden. I have a suprise for you." Aang took my hand and led me away.

So I sneak out to the garden to see you

We keep quite cause we're dead if they knew

So close your eyes

Escape this town for a little while

Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter

And my daddy said stay away from Juliet

But you were everything to me

I was begging you please don't go

And I said

When we reached the small enclosed area, Aang turned to face me and took both my hands in his. He looked me in the eyes and said,

"Katara. I have know you for some time now and well... I think our relation ship is ready for the next step. Our lives haven't been easy and our love was hard at times. Especially during the war with Ozai."

Romeo save me, they're trying to tell me how to feel

This love is difficult but it's real

Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess

I got tired of waiting

wondering if you were ever coming around

My faithin you was fading

When I met you on the outskirts of town,

And I said

"I love you, Katara, but what I really want to ask is......" Aang knelt down.

Romeo save me I've been feeling so alone

I keep waiting for you but you never come

Is this in my head? I don't know what to think

He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring

And said,

"Will you marry me?" Aang pulled out a necklace.

Marry me Juliet

You'll never have to be alone

I love you and that's all i really know

I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress

It's a love story baby just say yes

I could hardly contain myself! I nearly screamed, "Yes! Yes, Aang! I will!"

Aang smiled as we embraced with a kiss to celebrate.

Cause we were both young when I first saw you...
