It was the day she was dreading, The Reaping. It brought terror, and tears to her eyes. Competing in the Games had traumatized her and her husband, Peeta.

Living in Victors Village was supposed to be an enjoyable, but it just reminded her that stepping on that stage, and volunteering for Prim, had killed her old life. Prim lived in Katniss's old house because she moved there when Katniss and Peeta got married. Now, both sisters support families.

Prim's husband had died in the coal mines, just like their father. She had a 13-year-old daughter, named Julie. Katniss was married to Peeta and had a 12-year-old daughter named Johana, and a 15-year-old son named Gale.

Because both of them had won the games, Katniss and Peeta were extremely rich, but Katniss still liked to go out in the woods, to get some alone time. Peeta sill loved to bake and had developed a habit of Thai style cuisine, although they had servants to cook for them.

Katniss refused to give her money to Prim because she said that "Prim should be grateful that I volunteered for her." Although those were mean thoughts, Katniss could never forget her time in the arena.

So, to make money, Prim made medicines, like her mother used to do, and her Julie often hunted with Johana. Gale preferred to be alone, he didn't think he needed his parents help, and nor did he want it. The idea of the Hunger Games excited him, much to Katniss's fear.

Katniss went to find Peeta, and when she saw the article he was reading in the news, all the arena flashbacks, entered her mind.
