The moment he sensed danger,
he'd jumped at the chance.

Like a kid on Christmas Day.
He would barge right in
forgetting everything about
the safety for himself
and others.
He was like
a bull in a china shop
when it came
to scenarios
filled with danger.
He'd done it again.
Been a knight in shining armour.
Saved a girl from being blown up
but, also placed himself
in danger.
Was I surprised
when Dixie told me?

of course I wasn't.
It's what he always did.
But, his actions
could have had
serious consequences.
He was lucky
again
I want him to change
But, I know he never will.
