*Gex's Mansion*
Safe to say that building some extra space over the past few years has made me much more lazy in terms of doing anything with my life. Indeed, after defeating Rez a second time, I decided to build a mission control like base in order to monitor the happenings within the Media Dimension. That and I was getting sick and tired of having to jump directly into a television monitor just to get into the Media Dimension itself.
Anyways, my butler Alfred has helped me out in building everything within the Gex Cave (Bat Cave was taken) and with Agent Xtra by my side, combating evil in the Media Dimension was, for the lack of the word, boring.
Yes, we were more prepared to battle the forces of evil. However, when you defeat the only source of evil around, well, sometimes an extended vacation was in order. Sitting in front of the many televisions in my mansion, I was just enjoying a crime free life for once. I was enjoying one of my favorite fly covered donuts when some breaking news appeared on my screen.
"Breaking News! We have just reported that Agent Xtra, the partner to one Gex the Gecko and cover girl to many magazines, has been kidnapped! She was last reported around the Florida area searching for a bad guy when she disappeared suddenly! More details as they arrive!"
I swallowed my donut as I looked at Alfred. "This is bad Al. Real bad!"
"I know sir, this is just dreadful news! Where do you think she disappeared to?"
Just then, my monitor started blinking and Agent Xtra appeared on my screen. "Gex, can you hear me?"
"Xtra! You poor, kidnapped minx."
"Hey tiger, I'm trapped within the Media Dimension! Rez is back and he's kidnapped me to try to get to you! He's hiding somewhere in your secret cave." She said as I smirked.
"Hey, speaking of secrets, do you want to see mine?"
"Down boy, can you zap me into your watch?" She said as I pulled out my trusty spy watch. I entered a unique code as Xtra appeared on my watch screen now. "Thanks Gex! Now go and save me please, this place is giving me the creeps!"
"I'm on my way!" I exclaim as I pushed a button on my desk, revealing a digital portal. I stepped inside and signaled Alfred to pull the switch. I then felt the familiar sensation of getting lost into that realm of television.

A/N: Hello everyone, after being away from the writing game for so long (11 years and some change, give or take an update here and there) I decided to not only come back but to finish up my Gex: Enter the Gecko story. As I was writing it, I was inspired to continue the story and decided to write Deep Cover Gecko. I hope this time it doesn't take 11 years to update the story!
