Cody was worried about the chess tournament coming up. He was going to have to face the world champion chess player Anya Mven. She was an amazing chess player and supposedly one of the cutest also. Cody doubted the second part though because he knew the cutest chess player in the world was his ex-girlfriend. Cody shook that thought from his head; he wasn't allowed to think about Bailey like that anymore. Cody sighed; he missed Bailey a lot though he would never admit it.
"Hey Codester, me and Maya are gonna go and check out the submarine do you wanna come?" Zack asked his brother as he approached him from behind. Zack knew his brother was still hurting from the breakup and he wanted to cheer him up. It bugged Zack that all of a sudden he felt caring, he was used to Cody being the sensitive one and he being the jerk but Maya had changed all that.
"Nah, it's alright Zack. I gotta get ready for the chess match anyway."
"Alright bro just let me know if you want to."
"Alright man, thanks." Cody said as he gave his brother a quick hug.
"No prob dude." Zack said as he walked away,
Cody walked toward his cabin when he bumped into someone.
"Oh I'm sorry!" He said as he got up off the floor.
"Sorry about that," Bailey said as she got up.
"It's cool, that was my fault anyway." Cody said as he began to walk away.
"I heard you're going to be playing chess against Anya Mven, good luck."
"Oh, thanks I'm really looking forward to it. It should be an interesting challenge."
"Well, good luck."
"Thanks Bailey," Cody said as he continued to walk toward his cabin with a small smile on his face.
