Everything happens in a dejavu type order, for the Rugrats it's just plain weird. Stew has done a new. Reptar design, except this time it's much bigger in publicity it's for a Reptar movie. He got the call from the movie director, Steven Stallsburg. Steven had called because he had heard about his animatronic Reptar for Euro Reptar land. He had called Stew to build a better Reptar for the movie on set in Los Angeles.
It ends up at Stew bringing everybody except Fefe and Spike with him. So once they all get in Los Angeles they were picked up by three stretch limos. Everybody was put in an all expense paid suite. Stew had Steven come over to plan out all the special effects for the movie, which even included fire and smoking mouth and nose. The next day the families all gathered up and headed to the studio where the movie was going to be made.
As usual the babies ran off to find a new adventure. They crawled around in awe looking at all the shiny toys. Phil said "look there's a big wormy" pointing to the electrical cords for the cameras. Chuckie all at the same time walked and tripped on the cords. Luckily this all happened they were walking or crawling behind boxes of film.
