He had a break from the missions. Dick Grayson decided he would go visit the one girl he had a crush on for a while. Gabby. It have been a while since they talked, since she was busy with her writing, and him being busy with the missions. She had been his best friend for years, before his parent died. She was the only one that wasn't on the team that knew he was Robin. He trusted her, and he knew she wasn't going to tell anybody else his identity. The one thing he was afraid of was her getting hurt from the Injustice League. If they found out about her, they wouldn't hesitate to harm her. He couldn't let that happen.

It was November. He was going to tell her how he felt. He walked to to her front door and rang the door bell. She opened the door with the biggest smile. She was wearing the usual, green shirt, jeans, and converse.

"Hey!" Gabby came out the door ready for whatever he had planned that day.

"Hey Gabby, ready for dinner?" Dick smiled.

"I've been ready!" She replied laughing.

He fixed his jacket and sun glasses and they headed off to Bruce Wayne's Mansion. Alfred already made them dinner ahead of time so they didn't really have to wait. He made Gabby's favorite, perogies. The delicious taste of potatoes and cheese.

"Of course you have my favorite." Gabby shoved one in her mouth.

"Why wouldn't I? I'll have anything that's your favorite."

"Naturally."

After dinner Alfred brought out the Angle food cake and gave them a slice each. They both laughed at each other for getting frosting on their faces.

"Wanna go for a walk outside." He asked.

"Sure!

They went out for a stroll in the park on a cold November night. Dick realized he forgot the water lilies for her. He then saw somebody being the tree. Wally. He handed him the flowers and dashed off.

"What a life saver." Dick thought.

He held the flowers behind his back, waiting for the right moment to give them to Gabby.

"Thank god she didn't see him." He thought.

"I-it's cold out here, I f-forgot my jacket." Gabby shivered.

"Here." Dick took off his jacket and put it around her shoulders.

"Thank you." She smiled.

"Anything for you babe." He smiled nervously.

"You ok? You sound like Wally." She gave him a worried look.

"No, it's just, I, I need to tell you something." He said.

"What is it?"

"I, Gabby I like you a lot, not as a friend, but like, like you like you." He said nervously and handed her Purple water lilies.

"Dick, I like you like you too!" She blushed and buried her nose in the lilies.

"Really?! I mean I though you-" He was cut off with Gabby kissing his cheek.

"Yes Dick, I really like you."

They both walked together in the cold until it was time for her to go home. He walked her home and went back to Mount Justice. The team was all there, suited up, waiting for him to get back. Batman already have them the mission and they were about to head off.

"You're welcome hot stuff." Wally smirked at him.
