In a quiet, high-end street, there was
A tall man with black hair sitting on a bench
Sighing at the phone by his side
The tall man pushed his hair into place
"Pardon me, Miss, you're walking down the street in such a rush!
Why don't you stay awhile and talk to this old forsaken bloke?"
Then the man said,
"I have a story for you.
It's an old tale that most people have forgotten about a man that God loved.
Once upon a time, there was a priest
Who was favored by God and brought up while he was still alive."
"Oh, how wonderful! That's great to hear, Sir."
"But listen, when he made a friend in Heaven
That Angel got caught up in the wrong crowd and fell to Earth."
"Well, I must say, that's a sad little tale."
Watching the people as they walked by
Wearing a black shirt that was half-unbuttoned
There, putting his phone in a trash bin
Was a tall man with a cheeky grin
"Why, if it isn't the lovely Miss! Here we meet again.
Today, I'll tell you another sad story."
Then the man said
"It's a sequel to the previous tale,
And it shows how this priest's life was so sad.
So the Fallen Angels ruined the Earth,
And to save the world, the scribe decided to destroy them."
"That seems a little out-of-character for him. Too bad for you, Sir."
"It's not like the scribe enjoyed the idea of killing his friend,
But he did it to save humanity."
"Well, I must say, that's a disheartening tale."
"So we meet again, Madam! It's a lovely day.
Today, I'll tell you the last story I have."
Then the man asked, in a sharp voice
"Do you happen to know of the Angel who wanted free will?
After watching humans for awhile,
He wanted to be like them, doing whatever he wanted."
"You never seem to run out of your stories. I feel sorry for that Angel."
When she turned around, the man vanished into thin air
The bench was unoccupied and quite chilly
"Well, I must say, this is quite strange-oh!"
The girl smiled and thought out loud
"I hope he'll be alright."
