Just a little random drabble that I came up with.
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter.
An object in motion tends to say in motion, and an object at rest tends to stay at rest, unless acted upon by an equal and opposite force.
They were like inertia to each other, creating an equal and opposite force for one another. They created a collision to stop motion.
Rose loved running. She ran into everything head first, or ran away from things with an indescribable force. She did so with an incredible rashness. Scorpius took things as they came. He handled the situation as it came. He thought everything through. She was an object in motion; he was an object at rest. They were each other's equal and opposite force.
They were as opposite as fire and ice. She was the fiery red headed Weasley who had a temper. She was the bold Gryffindor who knew no boundaries. He was the calm, cool, Malfoy with messy blond hair and was never known to get angry. While he was also a Gryffindor, he was far more careful, he knew his boundaries, and was rather shy. They were so entirely opposite, no one could understand how they get along so well.
They were also equals though. They were Head boy and girl. They both played on the same quidditch team. They were two parts of a whole really. They were like yin and yang. They balanced each other. She was ready to put his thoughts into actions. They really were equals.
The two worked well together. They really were like inertia. Their first kiss was a cause of great havoc to everyone else, but to them the rest of the world was no longer there. To them motion ceased to exist. It was like an explosion.
They were equals. They were opposites. They were like inertia.
