One Word

One word can say a lot. It can tell you how someone's feeling, their personality, their feelings towards you. It can also change everything. I mean I knew they were close before I came here. But I didn't know they were that close. Poem in Nina's POV.

Okay I've written many poems but I've never had the courage to publish them. This is just one in Nina's point of view when they talk to Joy over the webcam. I am dedicating this to Curious . Panther . 87 who inspired and motivated me to publish this :)

"Fabes."

That's all it was.

One, small, tiny word.

But I saw the way she looked at him.

I saw the way he smiled and blushed.

And my heart freaking b r o k e.

Because that's the way he looked at me.

I should've guessed,

I mean I knew they were close before I came here.

But I didn't know they were that close.

So freaking close.

But what could I do?

N o t h i n g.

I had to stand there and smile.

Act like I hadn't noticed it.

Because Joy actually seems nice.

And after all, Wasn't I the one replacing her?
