The called salmon-haired musician blinked when he realized he had been playing and singing alone. He felt daggers digging into the top of his head as he contemplated if raising his head is worth losing it. But then again, it's an even higher probability he loses it if he denies her request of a response, which includes him looking at her. After a few moments of cowardly hesitance, he lifted his head only to be immediately met with dark brown eyes.
"Yes?" He silently cursed himself for the shaky whimper that escaped his lips, and for the fact that the ice freak will tease him for it later on.
"It's either you get your head in this, or you drop the guitar. Your choice." Erza, an older sister figure to Natsu, stated sternly as she uncrossed her arms and turned to walk out of the booth, but not without taking a glance back, and her eyes softening for not even a complete split second. He could have sworn there was a hint of sympathy in them, and he didn't want it.
None of it.
Lucy's POV-
No, you're not alone
You know I'll be there
The legendary Natsu Dragneels melodic voice, supported by others and the sound of instruments entered my ears as I sighed heavily and lied back on my twin sized bed.
"So, when are you guys releasing the new album?" The interviewers' deep voice stated.
"We're not quite sure yet, but we're already done recording all the songs and all we've got to do is pick them out which is actually somewhat of a long process."
I sat up once again, crossing my legs, as I began listening attentively. The heartthrobs shown on screen are the members of Fairy Tail. A band consisting of 4 teenagers, ages ranging from 18 to 19, which have been blowing up the charts for almost a full year now. It consisted of Natsu Dragneel, the lead singer and bassist; Gray Fullbuster, the lead guitarist and backup singer; Gajeel Fox, the drummer; and Jellal Fernandez, the other backup singer and keyboardist.
"I can't wait!"
"Thank you!"
"So, who's single here?" The dark haired interviewer who seems to have 'invasion of privacy' in his job description asked with a wink, and unsurprisingly, an extremely annoyed expression took over all of the band members' face, probably from constantly receiving the same question.
As soon as my feet hit the carpeted floor of my bedroom, I dove into action. Running into the bathroom and leaving the interview running in the background but playing music from my phone as I did my morning routine, which consisted of brushing my teeth, applying some makeup, fixing my hair, and getting dressed for school.
After staring at my 17 year old face in the mirror for 5 minutes and realizing that I finished my routine ahead of time, I retreat to my bed and watch the rest of the ongoing 2 day old interview.
"-es me really happy actually," stated the eldest member of the band stated. I took my eyes off the screen to attach them to the smaller screen of my phone as I scrolled through tumblr.
The interview nodded with a fake smile before continuing on, "I heard you guys are going back to school?"
I had a nice, short session of choking on my own spit. I've always wondered about that subject. Do is it really not matter to the teenage celebrities that they've stopped learning or acquiring knowledge before even finishing at least their high school education? Of course, it's not like I enjoy school myself, but I believe that it's necessary in everyone's life and I also love learning. But I would have never expected the childish, spoiled, obnoxious guys of Fairy Tail to go back to school.
"Yes, actually! And our manager, Jellal's girlfriend, Erza is joining us too!" Gray's chirpy but masculine voice said.
"And what school will you be going to, if it's alright with you to tell us?"
"Honestly, it doesn't even matter at this point, I'm positive everyone knows," He chuckled, "We're actually going back to our hometown, Magnolia, and going to school there."
y/n: hey guys! i am so sincerely sorry for leaving you hanging like this. so much has been going on and i've been going through so much during the past two years or year and a hald and i have not had the time, energy or right mindset to rewrite or update this, or do anything for that matter. i'm slightly better now, but the better term to use would be stable, so hopefully i'll stick to my duties and never ditch this again.
thank you for all your support and for sticking with this even after i've left it for so long. i love you all and i hope you enjoyed it, because i'm not going anywhere this time.
also, i will tell you at the beginning of every chapter if it's been rewritten or not, which this one has been. it's slightly shorter than it used to be, so i'm sorry, but this is just the prologue. i might also combine chapters together later on, i'm not sure yet, but i'll let you know if i ever do.
