Resistance

This is the start in a series of poetry on the Themes in 28 Days Later, by me and my associates. the first is my own work. As I get more into it, rating will change.

This came to me in a randon thought, and though it is a little depressing, i thought that it made sence with the themes in 28 Days Later.

Resistance

We had it good

There was time

Everything was in line

Then this happened

We lost

And look at the cost

So much death

So much pain

We are fighting in vain

There's no reason to bother

We walk on a plane

That is endless and dark

The song of a lark

In the distance is all we can hear

Death grows near

In it's shadow

We see our last breath

Coming too quickly

We've only got left

A few moments

Before we all lose

But among us there is at least one who can choose

To defy

The dark prince

To stand up to the evils

To fight and resist

Though we don't have much time

I realize this

I would rather die fighting

Then bowing to him.

Okay, so I'm a little depressed right now. Bite me.
