It was #NBAFinals and Tasha was glad that Kurt and Jane finally settled, because with that Weller was always making festivities at home. This weekend there was the game between Warriors and Cavaliers and everyone was called to go. All. Including Jane's brother, whom she had not yet forgiven but who was learning to live peacefully, maybe.
The word peacefully died on that day between them.
They were just watching the match sitting between Weller while Reade was on another couch and Jane was in the kitchen with Patterson talking when Roman started a war after a Curry throw over Lebron, Tasha's favorite player.
"Oh God, Lebron has just eaten dust now," said the bearded man, and Tasha looked at him as if she had been personally insulted.
"Shut up. Look how you talk about Lebron." She said seriously and Roman looked at him with amusement for the first time in his life.
"I'm just telling the truth. Didn't you just see the dribble he just gave and the two points he just scored for the Warriors?" He said with mockery, which made Tasha even angrier.
Reade, Patterson, Jane and Kurt exchanged glances with amusement and Kurt gave up being between the two stubborn.
"Oh my God, that's nothing close to what Lebron James ever did in the NBA. Just watch it," she commented.
"That's what I'm doing." Roman finished. "I even saw Curry scoring the first double triple in a final, as far as I knew."
"That does not take away the Lebron star." Tasha continued, not wanting to twist.
"I'm not saying that, just that Curry was much better than Lebron in the move." He continued.
"Only on the move." Tasha said and then continued.
"Even because of the departure the best for sure was Durant." Roman replied.
She looked at him in disbelief.
"Now I can agree with you." She said and slammed her bottle of beer with the bottle of Roman, which made the bearded man laugh to finally find that truce in the middle of an argument.
Tasha turned to smile at Jane with humor. "Your brother is a nice guy. You even learned about the NBA first," she said teasingly.
"Getting all night locked up at home, anyone learns." He answered and could not tease her again, for he had liked it. "Learn until Lebron James will not be the best player of the match"
Everyone started to laugh and Tasha threw a pillow at him, who laughed.
"I think I'm going to take what you said about being a nice guy"
