"Witches live in a wold completely different than the world of humans, Fami-Chan. They fly on brooms, have fairy familiars... And they use magic." Doremi explained to her starry eyed granddaughter. Fami nodded quickly.

"Magic...But! Oba-Chan... Why do witches live in a separate world?" She asked, her magenta eyes filled with curiousity. Doremi took this moment to laugh loudly, before turning completely serious.

"Humans are afraid of witches, so they secluded themselves fr-"

"MAMA!!! Are you telling Fami-Chan those whacked out witch tales?!" Hana, Fami's mother, yelled, suddenly at the door. Her light purple hair cascaded down her shoulders and a bandanna was wrapped around her head. Fami gulped before turning towards her mother. She was about to speak when Doremi cut in.

"Hana-Chan... They are not whacked out tales, they are completely true stories!" She huffed, her grayish pink hair falling from one of the buns on her head. Hana sighed.

"Mama..." She whined, as if to protest. Doremi's mouth curled into a smirk.

"It's not my fault you were never chosen to be a witch apprentice." She muttered, loud enough for only Fami to hear. Fami blinked and looked up, seeing her grandmother staring off slightly. As she opened her mouth to speak, her mother grabbed her arm.

"Fami-Chan... Come help me with dinner. We're having steak tonight!" She said, trying to get Fami away from her crazy grandma. Suddenly, Fami and Doremi squealed in pure delight.

"STEAK?!" They yelled together, looking like a bunch of love-sick school girls. Doremi stood up, her hair falling out of the other bun.

"HANA-CHAN! Make me some steak too! Don't leave me out of the happiness of devouring a delicious... Juicy... Steak..." She yelled, pointing at her daughter. Hana sigh and looked down at Fami, who winked at Doremi.

"Don't you worry, Oba-Chan! I'll make your's special!" She giggled, a big smile on her face. Doremi calmed immediately and a grin spread on her face.

"That's my good granddaughter." She said with a soft look. Suddenly, Kotake appeared behind Doremi, a superiorly pissed look on his aging face. Due to the fact that his gray hair was messed up, it was obvious that he had just been woken up, and it was Doremi's yelling that did it.

"Baka... DO-JI-MI!!! Do you have to be so loud!? There are people trying to sleep you know!" He yelled, furious that he was awoken from his nap. He folded his arms across his chest, as he awaited an answer. Doremi sweat dropped and turned towards her husband. Fami and her mother were sure to be out of there as soon as the arguing began.

As soon as they were safe inside the kitchen, Hana and Fami burst into giggles.

"Even though they argue a lot, Mama and Papa love each other so much..." Hana said, at the end of the giggle fit. She patted Fami's head, who nodded.

"Yeah, but sometimes I worry about them!" She laughed, going to the cupboard to get her favorite, pink, apron. As she opened the refrigerator, Hana counted the steaks. There were only four of them, because Papa Kotake didn't each steak, he would be eating special fish tonight. Smiling, Hana pulled the steaks out, and handed them to Fami.

"STEAK FOR DINNER TONIGHT!!" Fami yelled, and the pair began cooking.
