Roderick Peterson straightened his tie as he watched his brother Donald climbed out the car with his wife, two children and oh no he brought that man that he claims is more of a brother than his own brother.

Roderick sniffed disdainfully as they made their way over to where everyone else was waiting for the hearse to arrive. He shook his head when found his eyes damp and lifted a tissue to wipe them.
Donald stood by his wife and best friend as his kids clung to his and his wife's hands.

"Go talk to him." His wife motioned to Roderick.

Donald shook his head, "no I'm sure he doesn't want to speak to me not here, not now, not anytime, not anywhere!"

His wife folded her arms and his best friend, Desmond, and his kids copied her.

Donald shook his head, "fine I'll go talk to him."

Roderick removed the tissue and noticed his brother was making his way over to him.

"Hey!" Donald said as he shoved his hands in his pockets.
""Hello." Roderick nodded.

"Still like to talk proper then?"
"Yeah. Still with Sarah then?"

"Yeah and our little boys, Lenny and Scottie."

"Cute. How old are they?"

"Four and the cheekiest boys you'll ever meet. Though I think that's their uncle Desmond's fault." Donald replied with a small smile.

Roderick nodded stiffly and him and Donald stood around awkwardly until the hearse arrived and they stepped forward to carry the coffin with four of their cousins.

After the service and their father had been cremated the twins stood on his favorite moor with everybody else from the service. "And now we will scatter Mr. Peterson's ashes over the same moor where he spent many a happy day with his two sons and late wife." The minister said as Donald and Roderick lifted the jar with their father's ashes and threw them up into the air.

Everyone watched as the ashes flew into the air and fell sparkling like fairy dust to the ground.

Donald turned to Roderick, "you know we could try and get on for dad's sake."

"Yeah for dad's sake!" Roderick nodded as the sun set on the day.
