"Hey, Zuko" - A shy, nervous blush coloured Katara's cheeks - "what was your first impression of me?"
Slightly surprised by the question, Zuko hesitated before saying, "Well, you were always an obstacle to me, being so protective of Aang and everything..."
Her face fell, shoulders sagging in an oddly disappointed manner. "Oh... Is that all?"
Zuko bit his lip, uncertain. "Um, well, actually, when I first saw you I... Thought you were, um, pretty."
Both teens' cheeks reddened, the firebender scratching the back of his neck bashfully, while the waterbender averted her gaze and blushed modestly.
"So... What was your first impression of me?"
Katara smiled. "Well, I thought you were evil, but also sort of a dork."
His eyes widened. "What? Why?"
"Oh, come on," she giggled. "If you'd seen your face when Sokka's boomerang hit you, you would've thought the same thing."
A glare. "Shut up. Didn't you think anything else?"
Tapping her chin, Katara took a moment to ponder. "Hmmm... Nope!"
Zuko crossed his arms, pouting.
Author's Notes: I kinda like it, but I'm not jumping for joy over it. Something about it just doesn't quite fit...
