~All She Wanted~
"Look at me!" Sakura said to the man the laid in her arms. She sobbed out that same sentence over and over again, knowing that he would never answer her.
All she wanted, was to hear his voice again.
She remembered as a child, how she would love the sound of his voice, even if the words that he said to her was not what she wanted to hear. That sweet monotone that he favored as a child.
All she wanted, was for him to open his eyes.
She loved the way that when you looked into his eyes, it seemed like you could see forever and ever. She wanted him to let her see into the onyx orbs that she loved some much.
All she wanted, was to make him happy.
She didn't care that he was supposedly in love with the women, Karin from Team Hebi. She didn't care that he had tried to kill her because she, like the times before, tried to make him come home.
All she wanted, was him to feel loved.
She didn't care at all, that she would never get to be the women that would help him rebuild his clan. She didn't care that she wouldn't be the one that he would hold in his arms at night.
All she wanted, was for him to come home.
She beat her fist against his chest, trying to force life into his lifeless body. She cried, saying that she hated him and that he better not die on her. He never responded to anything that she did to him.
All she wanted, was for him to be alive.
And as she morned the lose of the love of her life, she didn't hear the cracking of the branches. The sound of the leaves being rustled as someone walked. She didn't notice the footsteps coming towards her.
And when she finally looked up, she didn't care that the man before her, was the one that had killed her love. She didn't care that he was going to kill her too.
All she wanted, was to be with him.
