Author's Note: This story was inspired by the "We just went 50-50 on a unisex raincoat" line and the totally not unisex raincoat. This is my first Mindy Project fanfiction, and depending on future inspiration, might not be my last. We'll have to see how that works out. Anyway, I hope I haven't stolen this idea from anyone. I don't read TMP fanfiction, but after talking about the possibilities of this scene with a friend, I felt that it simply had to be written. The Raincoat

"Danny! Look what I found!"
"What? What is this- a jacket?"
"It's a raincoat. Do you like it?"
"Yeah, it's nice. I like the fur… thing here. It looks nice and warm. But I don't know… Do you really think purple is my color?"
"Well… I was thinking about this… for me."
"For you? No way! This is a man's raincoat. Here, I'll show you. See? This is definitely a man's raincoat."
"Wow, Danny, you look really good in that."
"You see? I told you it's a man's raincoat."
"But look at how good I look in it. Come on, let me try it on."
"What? No."
"Come on, Danny."
"Fine. Here."
"Thank you. Now see?"
"Yeah, well, you- you can't wear it! It's a man's raincoat!"
"We could both wear it!"
"Both wear a man's raincoat?"
"It's unisex, Danny."
"Unisex? What even is unisex? It's like an article of clothing that can't make up it's mind. It's unnatural."
"Danny, we both look great in this coat. We could split it."
"What? Like go halfsies on it?"
"Yeah. It'll be like getting a puppy or a car or something."
"I don't know… Where did you even find this?"
"I found it over there."
"Where?"
"Over there, in the unisex section."
"The unisex section?"
"What do you think?"
"I don't see a unisex section."
"It's over there. Come on, what do you say?"
"Well… we do look good in it… Okay."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah, okay. But we go 50-50."
"Look at us. Our first raincoat."
"Yeah. Our first raincoat."
