Mainframe: From Here to the Net
Summary: After Megabyte returns to Mainframe, Guardian Bob and the gang have to fight off the viral invader, with the help of friends from the past, before they can move on with their lives.

Rating: PG-13, just in case.
Genre: Drama/Romance
Spoilers: Pretty much everything from all 4 seasons. If you haven't watched "Couching Binome, Hidden Virus" you might want to since this picks up right where it left off.
Chapter 1: Ready for the Hunt(part 1)
There was nothing but silence after Megabyte's words rang out. Dot couldn't peel her eyes from the floor before her. Hack and Slash shook behind her. AndrAIa and Mouse stood stock still, looking between each other and the door. Bob and Matrix stared at each other for a moment before the latter pulled his gun from his side.
"I'm ready," he stated in his rough voice. His eye glowed red.
"Enzo, no. We have to think about this logically."
"You sound like Dot." He looked at Bob angrily, but lowered his gun back to its holster.
"Well, your sister has a lot of good ideas. I sure could use one right now." A whisper came from Bob's arm as he said the last words. He looked down to see Dot on Glitch's screen. She looked frantic, but she looked much more put together than Hack and Slash who scurried around behind her frantically.
"Bob? Bob, can you hear me?"
"Dot? Where are you?" Bob too whispered, though he wasn't sure why. He knew his and Matrix's location was plenty far away from Megabyte's prying ears.
"Down the West corridor outside the war room. We're halfway to the data ports. Bob, we don't have much time. We have to get out of the Principle Office."
"I know. We'll come to you. Stay there." She nodded to him. "And Dot?"
"Yes Bob?" she asked as if afraid he'd say they made a good team again.
"I love you Dot. You know that, right?"
"Yes. I love you too Bob. I'm sor-"
"You can apologize later," he responded quickly, winking and giving her a grin. She smiled back before they both signed out. Bob looked to Matrix who simply nodded to his friend. "Enzo, you have to find Mouse and AndrAIa."
"I'm on it. You find Dot and get her out of here. We'll be right behind you."
"You know where to go?"
"I know. Oh, and Bob," he added as Bob turned to leave, "it was nice hearing you say that to Dot. I know she needed to hear it."
Bob smiled simply before turning towards the data ports. Megabyte may have control of the Principle Office, but he didn't have control over all Mainframe, and wouldn't if Bob had anything to say about it.
Okay, I made this kind of short, but it's late and I really need some sleep. I'll get more up tomorrow…I'll be getting Mouse, Andi, little Enzo and Frisket in there before I go much further.
