Spain had been knocking on the tall wooden door for a few minutes and was starting to get impatient. Sliding a brass key into the door and pushing it open Spain's green eyes rested on a lump on the bed, covered in blankets and pillows. It was already past noon and Romano was still asleep. Antonio tip-toed over to the sleeping mess and sat carefully on the bed beside of Lovino.

Romano was listening to every sound that his former boss made, trying his best to keep up his sleeping act.

"Romano, Romano... It's already past noon and it's a beautiful day. You shouldn't waste it sleeping all day." Spain slid the blanket down to reveal Romano's sleeping face. He really was cute when he was asleep. A tan hand reached out and started to tussle Romano's brown hair.

Amber eyes fluttered open and gazed into the emerald ones watching him. The smaller nation stretched and sat up next to Antonio, slightly leaning on his shoulder.

"Why couldn't you just let me sleep, bastard?" Lovino yawned, not intending for the insult to hurt Spain.

"I thought such a beautiful day shouldn't be wasted." As Antonio finished his statement, two thin arms wrapped around his neck and nuzzled it affectionately.

"Can't we just stay here?" Soft breath tickled the hair on the elder's neck.

Spain giggled and shook his head. "No, you have to go outside."

Romano moaned and flopped back down on the bed, not wanting to leave the comfort of his blankets. "I don't want to go outside, idiot."

A smile slowly spread across Spain's tan face as he ran his hands down to Romano's sides and started to wiggle his fingers at where he knew the younger's ticklish spots were. Lovino started to squirm and giggle under Spain's hands. Romano started to push and kick against Spain, cursing and giggling madly. Before Romano knew what had happened, Spain picked him up bridal-style and they were heading out the door.

"You bastard!"

Once outside, Spain set the smaller man down and pulled his hand so Romano was forced to follow. Spain led the younger of the two down a path through a field of tomato plants. At the end of the path there was a small, round table covered with a red, checkered cloth. On the cloth was a basket of bright red, cherry tomatoes and a bottle of wine. Antonio held out a chair and Lovino sat, still bewildered by what Spain had prepared. Sure, It wasn't much, but it was amazing. Spain sat across from Romano, pouring them both a glass of wine and offering him a small tomato.

Taking a tomato and popping it into his mouth, he noticed a small piece of paper in the basket. Shooting Spain a suspicious look, he slowly drew the pink paper out of the basket. Before Romano could respond properly to the question written prettily on the paper, he was surrounded by Spain's strong arms and the paper fell to the ground.

"So, what do you say?" Romano could tell Spain was nervous, so he calmed him with his most natural response.

"Of course, you bastard."
