~ Coup de grace ~
The rustling of leaves and snapping of twigs underfoot assaulted his ears as he crawled through the underbrush.
Soon he came to a stop when he thought he heard the crinkling of paper.
Peeking out through the bushes he smiled deviously through the leaves at the blond sitting on the bench in front of him innocently reading his paper.
"Attack formation!" America screamed as he jumped over the back of the bench with an explosion of leaves and captured England in an embrace.
"What the-" Green eyes stared at the American startled speechless as he snuggled close. "America, you know how I feel about doing this in public…" The Englishman grumbled.
"But I love showing off~!" America said with a chuckle as he kissed England's lips happily. Until he tasted something terrible that is. *
He jerked away and wrapped his hands around his own throat as he choked dramatically.
"America!" The green-eyed man cried in a panic. "'Meri!"
As he worried over the American his lunch box was knocked to the pavement and forgotten as a jar of vegemite rolled away.
"'Meri, tell me what's wrong! 'Meri!"
