Yo guys Hellborn here, ive stopped writing almost completely so don't expect anything on my profile anymore. Umm i have a twitch now, NoRandomsGaming. I try to stream either there or on my youtube channel Atlys Syn. I play Black ops 3, R6 Siege, I might do fallout 4, on christmas I got CoD Ww2 and Elder Scrolls online so expect those. Well hope you had happy holidays and a happy new year I suppose that's it for me.

Rain poured down from the sky furiously, drowning the main route leading to the house. "Damnit... I thought tonight would be easygoing. Guess not." Pushing the sopping wet branches to the side he lead into the forest beyond. There wouldn't be as much downpour from the forest compared to the main route. The trainer in a red and black hoodie walked through a forest, his high tops broke through the dead branches with loud crunches. Golden blonde hair flowed in the air, continuing to be drenched by the rain up duffel bag bounced against his right leg as he waded through the weaving of trees. It was a full moon and its light shone between the trees. His breath came out foggy into the chilly air. In the rain and it was freezing cold; not a good mix. He saw a rattata scamper through the grass to avoid the incoming rain. Thinking about his own pokemon he let out his shiny Umbreon from its white pokeball. "Umbra!" it said excitedly. He reached down and pet its head. The umbreon rubbed back. The trainer put his hand back into the warm pockets of his hoodie. "Hey Kol!" His hand shivering inside his pockets from the cold air. "How ya doing buddy?" Kol rubbed up to his trainer like a cat, and he responded by grazing his midnight colored fur. "Come on buddy, let's get going." And with that they continued to traverse the cold and dark forest. Hey Kol, you know I wouldn't make you do anything that you wouldn't be up for right?" his voice solemnly worried as he awaited a response. Kolasi the Umbreon nodded. The trainer put up his hood and kept walking. He got to his dads house and knocked on the door. It opened. A tall man with olive skin and black hair stood in the doorway. He had on a long white scientists coat. "Hey bud!" the man said. "Hey dad" the trainer smiled. They were almost identical except the father had blue eyes and the son had emerald green.

The father bent down and pet the pokemon with a smile and again the pokemon pushed back and nuzzled his leg. The dad picked up the purring dark type. "You have the upstairs" the dad said. "There's your room and your bathroom. You told me you wanted a futon, there's one up there and a tv. The wifi password is CbH83hn58." the dad carried the umbreon into his lab at the bottom of the town.

Inside some devices were a Riolu and a Flareon. He turned the machine on and something was wrong. The panel sparked and a piece caught on fire.

"Run!"

A scientist yelled and they did but the machine exploded. The flareon was dead, the Riolu injured and the Umbreons didn't break.

Something was happening though. Bubbles like the carbonation of a soda rose in a deep magma red orange. It shifted to a bright teal like before and stayed. They all stared in a mix of wonder, confusion, and awe.

They took Kolasi out of the device quickly and hooked him up to another. They were stunned at what they found. The Umbreon was no longer just a dark type. He was now a dark, fire type

"What happened?"

"I think the machine somehow transferred the dna from the flareon into Kolasi but it killed her."

"That's revolutionary! Think of the possibilities!" the scientist said.

The Dad nodded. "I have." he took the plans that were used to make the machine and threw them into the fire of the machine. "This device can only be used for evil." he said and they nodded. "From now on we do not speak if this" he said and they nodded in agreement. The dad brought Kolasi back. The trainer was in the living room. He gave the umbreon to the trainer but looked very grim. The trainer noticed. "Dad? What happened?" he asked. The dad looked down. "The machine failed Kade" he said. Kade looked at Kole. "What happened to him?" Kade asked. The dad sighed. "The machine broke and the Flareon died… the flareon's dna transferred into Kole. He became a fire and dark type." Kade stood up. "What can he do?" he asked excitedly. The father chuckled. "Step outside and see for yourself" Kade did so and told Kole to use flamethrower. The umbreon did so but the flames were black and purple, like the colors of a shadow ball. He then told Kole to use shadowclaw. The claws were both the color of the fire and looked like they were flaming. "Woah..." standing their mesmerized at black flames. Sparkling but somehow fading at the same time.

"This does not leave this room. If anybody asks, it's a new type of evolution. But try not to leak it out." Shade fell over him as he picked up the injured Riolu and faded into the darkness. "I won't let it."

Hey guys. Sorry for not working on Midnights Sky over the weekend. Instead, I decided it was time to work on another story. This story is a collab between me and Hellborn so he will right the rough draft of the chapter, I come in, correct it to the best of my ability, and then add some stuff to it. It's not all me so I have more time to devote to Midnights Sky. Anyways, this is just the prologue so sorry for the short chapter.
