It was a normal day in the Mushroom Kingdom, peaceful as usual, unless it involves Bowser. Mario and Luigi were at Peaches Castle, waiting for the 34th cake to feast on this year.
Peach then walked in the room as cheerful as ever. "Oh Mario, thank you so much for saving me from the dastardly Bowser. Now, lets feast!"
But before anyone can get a slice of the cake, a weird portal opened and out stepped a skeleton guy with two kids at his side. The skeleton was named Grim, since he was the Grim Reaper, while the kids were Billy and Mandy, one looked like it got hit in the head with a brick during birth and the other gave Mario a dark feeling inside somehow.
"See Billy, video game realities do exist. Can we go now!" Grim said towards Billy. "Wait, I want to see how fast Sonic can go!" Mario then gave himself a face palm, knowing that the kid was as stupid as the inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom while Luigi was freaked out at Grims appearance.
"Does he always act like that near scary things?" Grim asked Mario. Mario nodded slowly and carefully. Peach was confused as well about these weird characters.
"So why did you guys come here again?" Peach asked Mandy. "Billy was acting stupid as usual and was wondering what a video game would feel like, or if he can even go inside one..."
"Wait? We are in a video game?" Peach was shocked, yet no surprised due to the amount of times she was kidnapped. Speaking of which Bowser then crashed through the castle roof, kidnapped Peach, and then left.
"Oh no! Dr. Wily got Daisy!" Billy screamed in terror.
"We really need to find someone to fix your 'problem' you got in your head Billy."
Mario was ready to go into another adventure, but Billy asked Mario if he can join along as well and said that Grim has to do anything he says, so its okay for him to go.
Thus starting a grand, and well thought out, adventure! With a more unlikely team then the Rabbids
