Chapter 1
I tasted something bitter in my mouth, something soft and grainy. After I gained my senses, I opened my eyes carefully. I realized what was in my mouth was sand. I quickly spit it out. I looked up in the distance to see a number of waves rushing to the shore. I noticed a distant sun over a purple sky. A few seconds later, I heard a unfamiliar voice saying my name, then darkness.
I woke and saw I was in a little hut with many different medicines scattered about. I looked down and saw I had a cast covering my whole body, which seemed a lot smaller. I thought it must be a dream so I tried scrambling about. About three seconds later a Kecleon came in and spoke, "Don't shift about too much," A long pause then, "We don't want you to have everlasting injuries." I tried speaking but my mouth was too sore to open. "Get some sleep." Kecleon spoke in the distance. I was so tired I couldn't endure keeping my eyes open for another second. I closed them gently and soon was asleep.
When I woke this time I was sprawled across something much softer. I looked over to see what it was. It was a bright green leaf which looked like It was powdered with some sort of medicine. As soon as I tried moving, Kecleon came in. "You have awoken finally." He spoke. This time when I tried talking words came out "W-who are you?" I stuttered. "I am Kecleon, the medicine guru in this town." He replied as he poured something into a cup and handed it to me. "Drink it." He said rather rudely. I chugged it down as I was commanded. Kecleon came over and grabbed the glass out of my hand. Something was strange about my cast-covered hand. I started taking the cast off and Kecleon snapped a quick "No!" at me. I stopped then asked, "Where am I?". "You're in Treasure Villa." Kecleon replied as he cleaned out the dirty cup. "And where is that located?" I asked in a low voice. Kecleon set the dish down, then walked over to the bed made of a leaf. "It's in the Hoenn region, a secret place where Pokemon visit to help other Pokemon." He said directly at me. A Treecko walked in with a bag of what looked like letters and envelopes. "Who's that?" He asked curiously. "A Mudkip I found on the beach passed out, Not sure where she's from, but she sure is shaken up." A Mudkip? No. Not possible. I'm a living human being. "Excuse me, but I'm Treecko." Treecko said directed at me. "She shouldn't be talking right now, she's really sore." Kecleon said before I could speak. "I have to run into town to pick up some new medicines, can you watch her for a minute?" Kecleon said quickly. "Sure." Treecko replied and then grinned.
