Fallen Angel
(Disclaimers- I know I shouldn't be doing another story, but my inspiration led me to do another. This time around, I don't own a thing-WWE owns all. Chapter 1-(Brie's point of view, a week before Total Divas is shown)
Nikki and I were in the car heading for a joint photo shoot and interview for WWE magazine. We were currently stuck at a stoplight when Nikki turns on the radio and it's on a classic rock station. I hear a guitar tone, and am reminded of the night I became divas champion.
(Flashback, 2008)
After Nikki had done twin magic on my opponent, Victoria-the distraction is enough for me to be able to pin Victoria and I win my first ever championship. That moment was so surreal, I absolutely remember the cheers I received that evening-I had to convince myself that this was no dream at all. Later that night, the roster had planned to go out to a club and celebrate my victory. Then, Punk walked in. Sure, I'd felt like there was something attractive about him and considering that we had at least we had one thing in common and that was we are both straight edge. But I know\ and knew then that he loved Lita and I belonged with Daniel- no matter how much Nikki hated it. The song that played next was "Know your Enemy" by Green Day. I just wish that Nikki accepted Daniel's and I's relationship-considering that I'd be moving to Arizona to take care of my dog Josie and my mom. I am really anxious about what Nikki will think-I can only hope that John will be able to save the peace. Besides, Nikki knows how close I have been with our mom.
Nikki's point of View-(present day)
Brie and I both knew that this weekend's Summerslam match would probably determine the course of our respective relationships, and to tell anyone the truth that scared me because John has been so tense lately and there was absolutely nothing I could do to help him. To add insult to injury, last week Brie and I both found out we are band from ringside during the match-however Brie and I were scheduled to compete in a Divas battle royale with me being accompanied to the ring by Eva Marie since she has to gain more experience. Brie would be accompanied by JoJo due to the fact she needed experience but had a concussion. I really had felt bad for her, because those can shatter your confidence-I should know because I had a few close calls when playing competive soccer growing up.
