This was a quick oneshot I thought of whilst doing my other story, so I wrote it down and touched it up, and although it's short, I think it pretty okay. Enjoy!

DISCLAIMER

I don't own anything, not Harry Potter, Not Scorpius, not Rose... But lets not rub that in too much.

Dark red curls floated past him as the Gryfindor did her last rounds. His own grey eyes stared at her long pale legs swagger down the hall, and he wondered, as yet for the millionth time, how he could feel this way about a Gryfindor?

See, having a small infatuation with Melissa was different. She was a childhood flame, therefore a near sister, a minor female acquaintance.

Some one who provided a necessary feeling to feel, well, human?

But Rose was different. She wasn't conceited or self conscious like most girls were. She wasn't polished and shined, or managed and withdrawn.

She was a foreign creature.

Long dark curled layers of reddish-brown hair framed her heart shaped face, and bright sky blue eyes that burned with far too much understanding of life and it's workings would often glare back at him.

Her skin was pale yet sunkissed, that of someone who spent every waking moment outside, soaking up the sun that her body loved.

She was a bright red ribbon in a box of grey ones, or the black diamond in a group of white.

She wasnt afraid of dirt, and didn't freeze up in front of boys. She could play quidditch for hours on end, and keep up a fist to fist, word to word fight for just as long.

She was true beauty, as pure as crystals themselves.

She was out of bounds.

There was the girl, whom his mother had chosen, who could of course, never walk into a room without leaving an impression of that blonde curled hair and violet eyes, and an attitude to make anyone falter. But she was someone who was made to piece him together, not at all what he wanted.

But she didn't always give the impression she wanted, unlike Rose.

The Weasley girl could make you believe that she was a perfectly composed even though she was inwardly filled with irritation and frustration.

Maybe she was too different? She was his polar opposite in many senses, but he had never hated her, no matter how many times he had said he did. He could never hate her. What would there be to hate? He loved everything about her, no. Adored. Adored every single thing.

Scorpius Malfoy slid down the halls and towards the forbidden girl. In their first year, she had told him that man desires the information that is forbidden to him, and would do anything to get it.

And so he would.

So? I know it's short, but I couldn't help myself. Comment, please?
