Destined

Summary: A tear slipped from my eye. I guess we were never meant to be.

"Nagi…" I said as he forcefully pushed me to the ground.

"ANSWER ME!" Nagi shouted, his face flushed. I sobbed uncontrollably, when did he become like this?

"I…I told you! He just pushed me to the ground and k-kissed me! I didn't initiate it at all!" I said, tears staining my porcelain face. He glared a me menacingly, as if he were to kill me he next second. My heart pounded so hard it felt like it was going to pop out of my chest. The next minute was silent. No one spoke, you could hear the rain pouring from outside. The thunder boomed.

"You, you are such a BITCH!" Nagihiko exclaimed as his palm whacked hardly across my face, leaving a mark.

"WHY? I didn't do anything!"

"Don't play dumb with me, Rima. Your dad told me that you never got kidnapped! You were just trying to get sympathy from us! You lying whore!" Nagihiko kicked me hard at the stomach. This was unbearable. The pain was unbearable. Not just the ones I've suffered from my father and Nagihiko physically, but also the throbbing pain in my chest, the unbearable pain that stung my heart. I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth. How could Nagi do this to me? Doesn't he trust me? I guess not, since here he was, constantly abusing me with words and actions, not to mention the beating I just received from the cowardly bastard.

"You… You've changed, Nagi. A lot." I said as I wiped the blood off my cheek. I stood up, wobbly, and walked to him.

"WHACK!"

I slapped him across the face, hard. The bruise appeared immediately, and blood was threatening to leak from his wound. I smirked, happy with what I had done. It may seem as if I had changed, and didn't care, but inside, it hurt a lot to have slapped him so hard.

I watched as his face turned red with anger, but he did not return the blow. I gazed at his back as he walked further and further away from me. A tear slipped from my eye. I guess we were never meant to be.
