Narrator's P.O.V.
In a far-off kingdom, was a village at the end of the woods. And there lived a young maiden. Who wished more than anything. But she was just a servant that nobody knew good.
Annabeth P.O.V.
I wish more than anything, more than jewels. More than life. I wish to go the King's festival. How I would enjoy to dance with the prince.
Thalia and Calypso P.O.V.
"The Festival!"
"The Festival!"
"Cinderella wishes to go to the festival!"
"How ridiculous is your idea?"
Drew P.O.V.
"Look at your nails!"
"Look at your dress!"
"Look at your face!"
"You look like a mess!"
Narrator P.O.V.
If you're wondering about how it became Cinderella, it's because Annabeth's fullname is Annabeth Bellatrice Chase. Now on to the story.
Annabeth's P.O.V.
"Don't judge someone by it's cover. Unless they have a black heart like all of you." I told them.
How could they judge a person. I wanted to kick all their arses. I just want to go to the festival in three nights. But those monsters won't let me.
A slap from Drew came. Then, she said that she has a surprise for me. But I think it's another chore.
Drew's P.O.V.
"I have surprise for you, my dear. If you can finish picking up this lentils and finish your chores in two hours. You may go to the ball. But I assume you can't."
I am the woman who fed her and clothe her and this is how is going to repay me. That stupid girl cannot go to the ball with me. If she dared to, I would kill her.
Narrator P.O.V.
The poor girl's parents had died and she was left in the care of her stepmother. Well, she didn't care for her at all. She made the girl a kitchen maid that was too dirty to dress. Drew made Cinderella serve her wicked daughters.
Cinderella was quite pitiful. But she will not let anything make her weak. They thought Cinderella couldn't do her task. Little did they know, Cinderella had a beautiful voice that can call on birds.
Annabeth P.O.V.
"Birds in the sky,
Birds in the eaves
And the leaves,
And the fields,
And the castles and ponds..."
I sang to the birds and they come flocking through the chimney.
"Quick little birds,
Down through the eaves,
And the leaves,
Over fields,
Out of castles and ponds..."
As the birds have continuously put the lentils in the pot. I was polishing the antiques in the kitchen. Until Thalia called me.
"Cinderella!" shouted Thalia and Calypso.
"Ahhhhhhhhhh...
Quick, little birds,
Flick through the ashes.
Pick and peck, but swiftly,
Sift through the ashes,
Into the pot... "
"Cinderella, we are waiting!"
How I hated my name. Annabeth would be fine. But anyways, I've got to go faster. I don't want to get slapped like last time.
"Fly, birds,
Back to the sky...
Back to the eaves
And the leaves
And the fields
And the ponds"
I sang and the birds have finished picking up the lentils. I said my gratitude to the birds as they fly away.
I came upstairs. Doing the orders of two vile daughters was hard! And you have to cope with them every single day.
"Cinderella do my hair." Calypso ordered.
"Cinderella, I found a little tear." said Thalia.
"You look beautiful!" I sang to them.
They approved of my answer. I didn't mind because every day they always say their beautiful.
I grabbed a new dress for Thalia and immediately did Calypso's hair. She said to tighten the hair more. I tightened it until she screamed on top of her lungs.
"Not that tight!" Calypso said and slapped me.
They laughed of how I fell to the floor. I want to cut their heads off.
After about two hours the carriage of the three monsters arrived. My two stepsisters came hopping to the carriage.
I spoke "I have finished doing the chores and picking up the lentils. May I go to the festival with you?"
"The festival lasts three nights surely I can go to one of them." I reasoned out.
"Oh! Don't be silly. The prince is looking for a princess, not some scurry old kitchen maid." said Drew.
"Look at your nails. Look at your dress. Look at your hair. You are still a mess." Thalia exclaimed.
But before I can speak, she ordered the coachman to move. I ran and ran to catch up to them. But I wasn't fast enough.
I still wish to go to the festival. And an idea beamed in my head. I can visit mother's grave at the woods.
I climbed the ladder positioned at the wall to get out. It was a good thing nobody saw me escaping the manor. I went to the woods all by myself.
I went hopping into the dark woods. And I sang my journey to my mother's grave.
"Into the woods I go astray.
To find my journey, not to delay.
Into the woods to mother's grave.
Just follow the path
And you'll be on your way.
Into the woods,
Into the woods,
Into the woods,
And home before dark."
Narrator P.O.V.
Cinderella had planted a branch of a willow tree at the grave of her mother and she visited often, and wept so much that her tears watered it until it had become a magnificent tree.
Annabeth P.O.V.
"Mother, please grant my wish. I just wish..." I talked to tree.
"What is it that you wish, child?
Do you know what you wish?
Are you certain what you wish Is what you want?
If you know what you want
Then make a wish
Ask the tree
And you shall have your wish."
An angelic voice sang to me dearly. It tells me if my wish was my true wish that I wish from her.
The leaves flew in circles and I stood up. I was surrounded by the leaves as I spin. My raggedy dress turned into a beautiful gold ball gown. I also had golden slippers. I thanked my mother as I went to the palace. I ran.
Narrator P.O.V.
And there lived a baker and his wife. Who wished more than anything but a child. But that us for another story of course.
