FIRE WORKS

Jesse lit a sting of firecrackers and tossed them away. The firecrackers made a terrible noise as they exploded. Jesse headed over to the folding table to select another one to set off.
"Jess, I'm going to take the feral inside. The noise is getting to her so I'm going to try to 'distract' her." Brennan said as he and Shalimar turned to go inside.
"Alright." Jesse agreed. He turned to Lexa, holding up one of the fire works. "I want you to try this one."
"What is it called?" Lexa asked as she walked over to him.
"A Roman Candle. I'll help you." Jesse lit the fuse and put the candle in Lexa's had. He moved to stand behind her, his hand over hers as he helped her hold the candle.
Lexa leaned back into his body as she watched the bright colored balls shoot out of the candle. When it was over and Jesse stepped away from her, Lexa felt slightly cold.
"So what should we set off next?" Jesse asked as he began to look through the selection again.
"Something big and bright to finish the night off with."
"Alright." Jesse selected a fountain and set it down on the ground. He lit it and then returned to Lexa's side. As the climax of the fountain came Lexa kissed him.
Later
Jesse collapsed onto the bed next to Lexa, both of them out of breath and exhausted from making love.
"I love you, Lexa." Jesse whispered as he pulled her to him.
"I love you too." Lexa whispered back.
