Mike was an average teenager, just like most teens he liked pizza, laying around doing nothing, and watching TV. He had a normal life, except for one thing.
He had Multiple Personality Disorder.
There were five of them, six if you actaully included Mike.
Vito was a party animal, and had a habit of flirting with every Jersey Shore-looking girl he came across. Svetlana was a Russian gymnast, Chester was a cranky old man, Manitoba Smith was a ripoff Indiana Jones, and Mal was the only evil personality, who'd put Mike in juvie before. Mike was the only normal one.
The personalities were hard to control, too. Because of them, Mike only had a couple friends. There was Cody, a candy-loving computer geek who had a crazy girl constantly follwing him around. Cameron was nearly a genius, often considered a baby because of how small he looked. Finally, there was Zoey.
Zoey was the only girl to ever actually talk to him since he moved last year. She was friendly, smart, caring, and everything Mike loved. She even laughed when he changed personalities, thinking they were impressions and he was just acting.
Mike really liked Zoey, always telling Cameron and Cody about her when she wasn't around. Cody didn't really listen, he was too busy trying to protect himself from the stalker, Sierra. Cameron had actually made a deal with Mike- he helped Mike win Zoey over, and Mike protected him from the bullies at school. It worked well, Cam keep Mike's personalities in around Zoey, and stayed with Mike as much as possible so he wasn't pushed around.
One day, Mike was walking with Cam through the halls to get to his locker, when someone stepped in the way. She was a short girl with pale purple lipstick, pale blue eyes, a forest green sweater, pale skin, and platinum blond hair. She was nearly as tall as Cameron, and her voice reminded Mike of a fairy.
"Hi, Mike."
"Uh... how did you know my name?"
"I can read auras. My name's Dawn. I was just reading your aura. It says you like someone at the school."
"Are auras like databases?"
"Yes, they are. And I have news for you. You may not like it, but I have to tell you. You have to tell her, and you'll get six chances. One for each for your personalities, including yourself. This day will be played six times in a row. Each day, there'll be one chance to confess your feelings to her, and if you don't take them and never tell her, you'll be forgotten by everyone that knows you."
"What? Why?"
"It's just how things are." Dawn left after saying this, without a goodbye. Mike was a bit scared, since there was a chance he may never be remembered again. But there were six days, and six chances. He had to do it, he could.
"Cam, help me! I'll freeze up in front of her!"
"Well... I don't know what to do!"
Mike sighed, already dreading the day (or next six days, anyway). Today was probably the first day. Zoey was right in front of her locker, at the end of the hall. Mike took a deep breath, bravely walking over to her.
"Zoey? Can we talk?"
