The Gregorian calender, our everyday calender, was not introduced until 24th of February 1582, obviously I warped that for the sake of convenience. From what I could find, they would have been using the Julian calender, which the Gregorian calender is an adaptation of, however, my brain did not wish to do the proper calculations to figure out when exactly the story takes place within that calender. Although, according to some calculations someone else did, the year 995, had they been using the current calender, would have started on a Tuesday. There is a link on my profile to most of the information including the oddity of centennial leap years.
Hermione invents a spell for charms - Variation of the spell to show parents, shows ancestors, Ron was test subject, it worked
Ron tries it on Harry, mispronounces sends Harry back to the time of the founders
Godric finds him, Harry doesn't understand him (they were using Gaelic) thinks Harry looks like a Slytherin, takes him to Salazar
Somehow end up discovering the shared parseltongue ability, Salazar shares his knowledge of the language through ligilimancy and takes English from Harry and shares it with Godric
Harry explains what went wrong, and that he is actually a Gryffindor at school and has no clue if he is related to either of the two men
They do the spell correctly, find out hes actually related to them both, and train him up while working on a way to get him back to his own time (find latent seer, and metamorphmagus abilities)
Two years later they finally figure out how to send him back, Salazar and Godric get into a major argument of who gets to go with Harry when he returns, which Salazar wins (This is the argument mentioned in the legend of the chamber)
Whether or not Harry or Salazar kill Voldemort or get him to change the way he does things (which would be Salazars' doing) I have not decided, however, I do know that Harry declares neutrality when he comes back.
Anyone else notice how Harry never actually states whether he's Dark, Light or Neutral?
