Very short story about officer Lisa and special agent Tommy from McGee's book Deep Six.
The supposedly cold hearted officer Lisa made her way to the home of special agent Tommy. On the way she was hoping that L.J.Tibbs would not find out about the two agents, co workers are not allowed to date under any circumstances.
"hay come in" greeted agent Tommy after she knocked on the door.
"Im glad it's the weekend last weeks cases were tough" stated Lisa as the two agents entered the living room and sat down.
"Me to now we can be tougher all weekend" said Tommy grinning.
"Unless we are called in" Lisa pointed out.
"We could just not answer our phones and stay..."
"and Tibbs would kill us" Lisa cut in.
"True but if we...""
You are so determent sometimes" Lisa cut in again.
"Well I...um...yea" Tommy stuttered looking embarrassed.
"I think it's sweet" said Lisa as she learned over to kiss him, he was the only one who could warm her cold heart.
