Our Friends are Watching Over Us

At a local cemetery, Ryan is looking at a head stone where Jesse Cardoza is buried at. Jesse recently died in the line of duty. Ryan sighs as tears is coming down his cheek. "You were only at the crime lab for a year, and now you are already gone. It's not fair". Ryan said to himself as he is at his friend's grave.

Eric Delko is also at the same cemetery visiting Speed's and Marisol's grave. "I miss you two like crazy". Eric said to himself as he puts flowers on their graves. He sighs to himself as he hears someone crying.

Eric looks around as he sees a familiar man at another grave. He went towards him. "Ryan, what's wrong"? Eric asks Ryan. Ryan looks at Eric. "Eric, I didn't know your here". Ryan said as he wipes the tears away. Eric looks at the head stone. "I heard what happened Wolfe. I am really sorry". Eric said to Ryan.

Ryan looks at Eric. "Thanks, he came on and then died at the crime lab. It just Jesse and I clicked so well together and get along so fast. Then that madman attacked the lab. We got along quicker than us, Eric". Ryan said to Eric. Eric looks at Ryan. "Our friendship is a working progress, Wolfe. You know that". Eric said to Ryan.

Ryan nods to Eric. "I know that Eric. It just not everyday that I met genuine and cool person like him". Ryan said to Eric. Eric looks at Ryan. "I guess it's the same thing with Speed. They were taken from this world too soon". Eric said to Ryan.

Ryan looks at Eric. "I know that they were taken too soon. If they were still around, do you think they would have gotten along"? Ryan asks Eric. Eric looks at Ryan. "I think they would have gotten along with each other". Eric said to Ryan.

Ryan gets up as he looks at the head stone. "Ryan, you know I am going back to work at the lab right". Eric said to Ryan. Ryan looks at Eric. "Yeah, it will be like you never left the lab at all". Ryan said to Eric. Eric nods to Ryan as he wants him to point something else. "Yeah and". Eric said to Ryan. "You get a prank from the others". Ryan said to Eric. Eric nods to Ryan. "Yeah that's what I am referring to". Eric said to Ryan. Ryan grins as he has a sly look on his face like he knows what he has in mind.

Eric looks at Ryan as rolls his eyes. "Ryan, you know that Speed and Jesse are watching over us right". Eric said to Ryan. "Yeah, I do know that now. Thanks Eric". Ryan said to Eric. Eric grins at Ryan. "Your welcome Wolfe", Eric said to Ryan as they leave the cemetery.

That Monday, Eric is welcomed back to the lab. Horatio and Calleigh has a warm smiles on their faces. Natalia looks at Ryan. "It's like he never left, huh Ryan". Natalia said to Ryan. Ryan has the sly look on his face as she looks at him. "Yeah it is", Ryan said to Natalia.

Natalia rises a brow at Ryan. "Ok what are you up to Ryan"? Natalia asks Ryan. "Oh nothing Natalia", Ryan said to Natalia. "Yeah sure you are Ryan". Natalia said to Ryan.

Eric walks in the lab as he brings to work. He sees the only pair of gloves left in the box and a bag on the table. At first, he is suspicious of the bag as he looks around to see if the others are around. Eric puts on the gloves. He opens the bag as carefully removes a rubbery item from the bag. Eric freaks out as he sees a green ugly monster head out from the bag.

Ryan and Walter burst in laughing as Eric looks at them. "I knew that you were up to something Wolfe". Eric said to Ryan. "Yeah well you are new the lab again, Eric". Ryan said to Eric. "You should have seen the look on your face man". Walter said to Eric. Eric smirks at them. "Very funny guys, I suppose I got a taste of my own medicine when you got the head". Eric said to Ryan. Ryan smirks at Eric. "That's exactly it, Eric". Ryan said to him.
