Chapter One
England slightly cracked open his eyes as sunlight poured into his elegent-ish room. The Englishman sat up in bed and rubbed his aching emerald colored orbs before allowing a small yawn to escape his lips. He took a glance at the alarm clock next to his bed. "Damnit!" Arthur thought, "I'm late again." Lately, the former straight A student has fallen behind in his classes, as well as being late. He wasn't doing it on purpose. No way would he stop being an honor student so willingly. Going to school was just too much for him. After his one and only crush got themselves a partner, it crushed his heart into pieces.
Groaning, England fell back onto his bed again, wiping away the tears that were now forming at the thought of seeing his crush with another person. "Might as well get this day over with," he muttered, his voice slightly cracking as he pronounced the word "over". Arthur rolled to the edge of his United Kingdom flag themed bed before kicking his legs off the side of it and getting into a sitting position. However, when he stood up, his vision blacked out and he was suddenly very dizzy, along with a strike of pain that forced him to sit back down. Once his vision was back and the pain was gone, Arthur tried again. This time successful. "I wonder.." the Englishman thought aloud as he made his way into the bathroom that was connected to him room and retrieving the thermometer. Turning it on with a slight beep, he stuck it into his mouth and awaited the second beep that told him the machine was done.
BEEP. Taking the thermometer out of his mouth, England looked at the results. "99.5 °F. Might as well not go. Don't want to get anyone sick." Slightly smiling, Arthur returned the temperature-taker back to its original place before hoping back into bed and closing his eyes.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. "Hey Artie are you home? I see your car parked outside so you must be! Why didn't you come to school?"
Inside the kitchen, a certain Brit stopped stirring his tea and froze in place. "Why the hell is he here?!"
