Graystripe's Choice

It had been a long day. ThunderClan had been invaded by ShadowClan, and there have been rouges seen near the ThunderClan bourder. Thankfully, they were all chased out. Millie, a small, striped, silver tabby she-cat was settling into the elders' den. She was the only elder left ever since her mate, Graystripe, and her friends, Sandstorm and Dustpelt, had joined StarClan. Little did Millie know, she would soon be joining StarClan as well.

Millie opened her eyes and there she saw hundreds of cats running to greet her.

"Welcome to StarClan Millie!" meowed Firestar.

"StarClan?" asked Millie. "So, I'm...?"

Firestar nodded.

"Well, I guess it had to happen eventually. Is Graystripe here?"

"Yes." answered Sandstorm. "But there's something you should know!"

"Whatever it is, you can tell me later!" meowed Millie, as she was already trying to find her mate.

"Millie!"

"She'll find out on her own." meowed Dustpelt.

Once Millie found Graystrpe, she couldn't believe her eyes. He was nuzzling his first mate, Silverstream!

Graysripe gasped when he saw his second mate.

"Millie, wait!" he called. But it was too late, Millie was already gone.

"You should go to her." meowed Silverstream.

"But-"

"Don't worry Graystripe. Everything will be fine. Trust me."

Graystripe nodded and went after Millie.

Later that day, Sandstorm, Squirrelstar, Leafpool, Feathertail, and Hollyleaf were taking a walk, when they heard someone crying. It was Millie.

"Millie? Millie, what's wrong?" asked Hollyleaf.

Millie didn't answer. She just continued crying.

"So, I'm guessing you found out about Graystripe and Silverstream?" asked Leafpool.

Millie looked up at Leafpool and nodded.

"Oh, Millie. It's okay. Everything's going to be alright." meowed Squirrelstar.

Meanwhile, Graystripe still couldn't find Millie. He then bumped into Firestar, Crowfeather, and Bramblestar.

"Graystripe, are you looking for something?" asked Firestar.

"More like someone. Have any of you seen Millie?

"Yeah, she's with Sandstorm, Squirrelstar, Leafpool, Feathertail, and Hollyleaf." answered Bramblestar.

"Thanks!" said Graystripe before continuing his search.

"Millie!" Graystripe called.

Graystripe soon found Millie being comforted by the five she-cats as he walked towards them.

"She doesn't want to talk to you right now, Graystripe." hissed Sandstorm.

"It's alright, Sandstorm. I actually wanted to talk to Graystripe alone." said Millie.

"Are you sure?" asked Feathertail.

"Yes, I'm sure."

The five she-cats then left the pair alone.

"Millie-" Graystripe began, only to be interrupted by the she-cat.

"Graystripe, you don't have to say anything. If Silverstream makes you happy, then I'm okay with it."

"But Millie, you don't understand. The only reason I was nuzzling Silverstream, was because she understood that I wanted to be with you."

Millie didn't know what to say. She was very surprised when Graystripe said this.

"I love you, Millie."

"Oh, Graystripe. I love you too." meowed Millie, her tail twined with Graystripe's as they began to nuzzle each other.

Unknown to the couple, Silverstream was watching them.

"Silverstream?" meowed a voice.

Silverstream turned around to see Stonefur.

"Oh. Hello Stonefur." meowed Silverstream.

"Hello." the tom replied. "Are you going to be alright?"

"Yes. As long as he's happy, then it's fine."

"Um, Silverstream? I was wondering, would you like to go hunting with me? Just the two of us?"

Silverstram smiled at her friend.

"I'd love to."

And off they went to go hunt with their tails twined.

The End

A.N: Well, I hope you all like it! Please, no flaming! I happen to like Graystripe and Millie. And yes, I know Silverstream and Stonefur are cousins, but then again, their cats. It doesn't really matter to them.
