Alice followed the white rabbit through Wonderland with the Cheshire Cat helping her. Things have drastically changed throughout the place she once knew. Nothing was the same.

Careful as you make your way here
Some things are poison to the touch
You've spent your life here in this place
You long to run away so much

As Alice fought the Duchess, she thought back to the asylum. She was sitting in her room while one of the nurses was singing a song about a rose in the devils garden. ' Ironic how that song fits here in this Wonderland' Alice thought to herself.

My love it is a black rose (my love it is a black rose)
Held out to you by the hand of fate (held by the hand of fate now)
And as this dark romance grows...
It's not from the sun, but the starlight that's so far away
Above the Devil's garden

Alice had fought her way to Hatter's Domain. She found Hatter and started battling him. ' He's changed way to much. Then again, so has everyone' Alice thought dodging Hatter's cane. After the battle Alice proceeded on her way to the Queen.

The fertile soil of poisoned hearts
Fed by tears and nighttime rain
Under Transylvanian moon
Grows the flower bred from pain

Jabberwock's words were starting to get to Alice. " You could've prevented their death Alice, yet you let them die. It's your fault" " No, no its not my fault. I didn't want them dead" Alice said more to herself than to the Jabberwock. The Jabberwock just laughed cruelly at the girl before him.

Death is pure - life is not
So ask yourself, what do you want?
As for me, well I want you
So pick the black rose and let its thorns cut you

Alice made it to the Queen's chambers with her Jabberwock Eyestaff. " So, you think you can defeat me and restore Wonderland? You're a foolish , foolish little girl" the Queen said. Alice just stood strong and faced the Queen. After a very long and tiresome battle, Alice stood before the defeated Queen.

Alice returned home feeling better that Wonderland was saved and everyone was back to normal. The love she had for her friends there helped her conquer her guilt. ' I wonder what Cheshire, Hatter, March Hare, Dormouse, and Rabbit are doing?' Alice thinking as she walked to her new home, but suddenly stopped when she saw a black rose in the shade of an overhead tree. Alice picked it and stared at it. It brought back the lyrics to the song that was stuck in her head during her adventure through Wonderland to save it. Alice pocketed the flower and smiled as she walked away to her home.
